Return to Whisper Forest

` Brainstorm--- [Open]

Whisper Forest. Such an, interesting place. Aave cast her light blue eyes up. Such a small creature could see much more then the average creature. And Aave was small for her kind anyway. The leaves were a damp green color, and mixed well with all the mist in this place. It was all quiet, except for the occasional rustle in the trees. Moonlight filtered through the canopy, and cast a strange illumination to the mist. The mist was always here. Very simple. Aave moved along the fallen tree trunk, feeling the moss slide over her almost luminous green body. She crept along, moving slowly, not really needing to go anywhere. Some food would be nice, though. Being about the size of a small mushroom, there wasn't much she could catch. There was always lichen, which was rather plentiful in this place. But Aave wanted to chase something. A bug, maybe? But there didn't seem to be anyone around. Nothing, really.

Being quickly proven wrong, Aave heard something moving close-by. She spun around, eyes locked on a patch of ferns, but turned again as another sound followed from the opposite direction. She did not speak. She never spoke. It's why Riot gave her, her name. Ghost.

Help, I'm alive.
My heart keeps beating like a hammer.
Come take my pulse the pace is on a runaway train.
Please, help, I'm alive.

((If you need any Info on Dogwood or his Mistress check this post.^-^ ))

Image His presence had apparently been spotted, though quickly his position was over looked. So attentive for such a small creature, Dogwood himself was small but even he dwarfed the bright creature. He'd been looking for yet another rare plant, this time it was the illusive Whisper Forest Ivy, he'd heard rumours that it was much like the biolune pets, in the fact it actually glowed! Not to be quick to jump to conclusions Dogwood remained sceptical and he stayed to the description Estelle had given him rather than that of some frivolous and rather naive plant specialists. He knew more than them by far, however he'd found their enthusiasm rather catchy, despite his rather sombre attitude the drakel was buzzing with excitement. What if this plant really did glow?

Nevertheless he'd better keep searching if he were to find this plant at all, glowing or not. Just as the little langerine was about to slip out of sight he gave a little cough and he stepped from the ferns which had previously concealed him. "Excuse me?" Dogwood asked. "Would mind me being so bold as to ask if you'd a certain Whisper Forest ivy that I've been searching these forests for?" he ventured in his perfect British accent. It was unlikely that she'd spotted anything though, he may as well try and ask the little creature, there was no harm in trying.

Aave watched the Drakel approach her. He didn't look like a threat, but the small creature was ready to escape. But, the respect in his voice made Aave relax. The situation was quite peaceful. The Drakel asked about a certain species of Ivy. He wasn't exactly descriptive about what kind of ivy he wanted, but that was fine by Aave. She's seem many kinds of ivy. She usually used them to climb high into the trees without getting to tired. Some were stranger than others, for certain.

Slowly, Aave nodded. She might as well help this poor creature, before so many like him vanished into the mist. She could lead him to some very different places, if she could possibly remember the way back to them. Being so tiny, many things looked very alike. It then occurred to her that it would be very difficult to communicate with this creature, seeing as though she never spoke. It just wasn't possible for her. Alkakine had thought that maybe she didn't have a tongue, or a voice box, but she couldn't tell. She was too small. She was always too small.

Jostling out of her thoughts, Aave motioned for the creature to follow her. And she started dragging herself as far as she could possibly go, having no back legs. They weren't going anywhere very soon, that was for sure. Usually it took Aave days to go a mile or so. Unless she was in a tree.

Ah. It seemed as if the little creature was unable to speak, well, it didn't matter to Dogwood whether the creatures he bumped into had two heads! So long as they were nice enough, and the little langerine seemed just that. "That's wonderful news! Well, I suppose it is hard for you down on the ground..." he mused, realizing it would take an age for the little creature to move over the very uneven terrain. "If it's not to forward... Ma'am? You could easily climb on my back, we would cover ground at a quicker pace, then."

The drakel was buzzing with excitement, already he was a step closer to finding what he was searching for. He sincerely hoped this ivy the small creature had found was the actual plant. How Estelle would be pleased and goodness knows she could do with a little cheering up.

(Shot. DX I think my muse is on strike. )
