Lelouch, the little Fellox-prince of Pandovia, was once more running around Whisper Forest. He wasn't straying too far from the Chateau to get lost, but since he was taking care of several hundred bunnies, he had, by now, really horrible problems with finding enough dandelion greens for all of them. Quite frankly, it was downright impossible and the fact that he always ended up with quite a lot was probably thanks to magic.

However, this time, he didn't just find bunny-food, he suddenly also spotted a brightly colored egg in the middle of the forest. "Oh, pretty!" Lelouch, curious as always, rushed over. The egg reminded him of last year, where a nice boy had come over to play with him and look for eggs in the bunny-pens. It also reminded him of the holiday celebrated here in Evelon, Easter. Which was about a bunny, if he remembered correctly. "Bunny? Buuuuunny?!" Maybe the Easter bunny was around and had lost an egg?

It was a pleasant enough day to be in the forest, and an even better one to be on an egg hunt. Easter had always been a holiday that Iota enjoyed. Spring was her favourite season anyway, but combining it with pretty eggs and a fun hunting game was like all her dreams come true. She had jumped at the chance to hunt, and since she had spent most of her childhood in some sort of forest or other, she had decided that this could be a pretty good place to hunt.

Not that she'd had much luck so far.

She was just debating whether she should press on or try exploring her immediate area more thoroughly when she heard a sound. Ears pricking up, she detected the voice of what sounded like a child. Instantly her maternal instinct kicked in. Perhaps they were lost? It couldn't hurt to check.

"Hello? Are you looking for someone?" She called out, trying to determine where exactly the sound had come from

Lelouch's ears perked up when he heard someone suddenly calling out for him. He hesitated for a second - his father had told him to be not so trusting, but really, he was cute and clearly, no one would hurt him. Also the voice sounded like it belonged to a girl and girls tended to like to hug him a lot. Maybe the Easter bunny was a girl and could talk?

"Helloooooo there!" Lelouch started to walk into the direction where the sound had come from. "I'm looking for the Easter bunny! Are you the Easter bunny?!" Excited, he tried to find whoever had called for him. "I love bunnies! Does your nose move up and down and up and down? I also have dandelion greens!" He totally wanted to attract the Easter bunny and then pet it!

Thankfully, the person who had initially spoken continued to be vocal. She was certain now they were a child, even before she stumbled across them. The second she saw the child she smiled, the exact same way she smiled when she saw a kitten or some other cute creature. He was utterly adorable!

"Hello! I'm the person who called out before. Sorry to disappoint you but as you can see I'm not the Easter Bunny. I do like to hop though." She did a little hop to demonstrate, hoping her outgoing attitude wouldn't make the child shy. It had been almost a whole day since she'd spoken to someone after all, and she did hate being alone.

"I may not be the Easter Bunny but I am hunting for easter eggs. I don't suppose you've seen any?"

Lelouch beamed when he saw the Lucain, even if she wasn't a bunny. But she seemed really nice and she hopped, which was awesome. "Helloooo there~!" He hopped as well. "I'm Lelouch! I'm a Fellox right now, but normally, I'm a human! And I'm cute and six and a prince and I like huggies, bunnies and ice-cream!" Well, Lelouch certainly wasn't shy.

"Oh! Easter eggs!" After he had heard the voice, Lelouch had all forgotten about the colorful egg he had found. "I saw one a bit ago here in the forest! It was all pink and yellow!" He looked around to remember where he had come from and spotted the egg, which stood out against the rest of the forest, a bit away. "There it is! Do you mean these?"

"It's very nice to meet you Lelouch," she beamed, her tails waggling happily, "I'm Iota but you can call me Io if you prefer. I like ice-cream too, but not as much as chocolate. And cupcakes. And strawberries." For the briefest moment she was distracted by the thought of food, her stomach rumbling slightly. She'd been so excited this morning that she'd barely eaten any breakfast. Oh well, there was plenty of time to eat later.

"I must say, I've never met a prince before! Let alone one as cute as you. Should I bow?" Pulling as serious as an expression as she could manage, Iota bowed down her head regally. When it came back up she had a large grin on her face, unable to remain solemn for very long.

Her grin only widened when he pointed out the egg.
"Yes, that's one! I'm helping a bunny look for them you see. It's like a hunting game. Perhaps you'd like to help me? I'm sure the bunny would be grateful." It would certainly be more fun than hunting alone at least, and it seemed like he had a talent for it

"I like chocolate, too!" Lelouch beamed. "And cookies!" It seemed that Lelouch, too, was easily distracted by the thought of food, especially sweets. "I tried eating grass once, like a bunny, but it tasted really bad and my stomach hurt afterwards. I don't know how they do it! Ice-cream is clearly more healthy!"

Lelouch bounced. "Nooo, you don't need to bow! You should cuddle me instead! I really love cuddles! When I grow up I want to be a king who gets huggies from everyone!" He really liked Iota already; she was fun to be around and really cheerful.

Lelouch's eyes grew wide. "A bunny? Maybe that's the Easter bunny then who lost its eggs?! I'll help you! Do you think the eggs will only be here in the forest? Maybe they are at the Chateau as well! That's where I live when I'm in Evelon and there are lots and lots of bunnies there as well! But I don't think any of them are Easter bunnies, so I'm not sure if they know something about eggs."

"Actually, I ate grass as a pup once myself. Never again! Ice cream is much better for us. Especially if you get fruit flavours." Once this hunt was over, she was going to go home and eat a big bowl of ice cream. Possibly with strawberries and chocolate as well.

"Well, it sounds like you'll be the best king in the world to me!" Touched by how cute he was, she hopped forward and gave him a hug. She loved hugs herself, although she was past the age where she could ask other people for them as casually as he did and not seem a bit odd. Then again, she was used to people thinking she was odd. Or slightly hyperactive.

Pulling away, she tapped her paw on her chin and pretended to think.
"You know, come to think of it it may have been the Easter bunny. I can't imagine any other bunny being so interested in Easter eggs, can you? And I think the eggs could be anywhere. We could ask your bunnies if you like? Or would you rather just hunt round here?"

"I agree! Daddy always says that ice-cream isn't healthy, but that clearly can't be!" Lelouch was more than happy that he had found someone who actually agreed with him on the topic and who even was older than he was. Normally, all the adults seemed to think as his father did. Secretly, Lelouch suspected that they all just said so because his daddy was the king, but well, he couldn't prove it. Even his cuteness didn't seem to help!

"Yaaaaay!" Lelouch snuggled against his new friend when he got the hug he wanted. "You give awesome huggies!" It was always a bit sad that he couldn't hug back while being stuck in his Fellox-form, but at least people liked how soft his fur was in this form, so it wasn't all bad.

"Awesome! So you met the Easter bunny!" Lelouch looked at Iota in awe. "Was it all cute and adorable?! And well, my bunnies can't talk. But they're still all cute!" He rolled the egg he had found into the basket he had around his neck for the dandelion greens. "We can look around here a bit first but move towards the Chateau, if you want. So if we don't find much here, we can then go and see all the bunnies!" Lelouch wondered if his new friend would find all the bunnies as awesome as he did.

Uh oh. Hopefully Iota hadn't just gotten herself into trouble with a king. If Lelouch mentioned that she told him to eat ice cream, that could be one annoyed parent. Then again, why shouldn't he eat ice cream? He was a kid after all, he should have fun!

"Why thank you! You're pretty good at hugs too. You could be known as 'The Hugging King'." She tilted her head, amused by the idea. Maybe in a couple of years or so she'd hear stories about a hugging king. It was a nice thought.

"It was very cute! Not as cute as you maybe, but it had big wide eyes and soft fuzzy fur," The more she spoke, the more she got caught up in the details, "And there was a bow around its neck which was dyed pale pink and blue and yellow and green. And it smelt of chocolate!" She laughed, realising she almost believed her own story.

"Alright, that sounds good to me. Let me see...I'll think I'll check out those flowers okay?" She pointed at a thick bush which was covered in pale pink flowers. It seemed like a decent enough place to hide things at any rate

"That sounds awesome!" Lelouch clearly liked the thought of having such a special title. His father had nothing like that - he was simply the king of Pandovia - so Lelouch figured everyone would find it really great if people living in other kingdoms would know about him like that. He probably would get even more huggies this way! "Daddy says I'm too trusting and shouldn't hug every stranger I meet, but clearly, everyone loves me, so it's okay! I'll be a great Hugging King!"

Lelouch was totally amazed. "A ribbon!" None of his bunnies had a ribbon, they didn't like things like that. Only a few even tolerated the harness. "I have a stuffed bunny called Mr. Fluffy! He has ribbons, too, but he's not a real bunny. My real bunnies wouldn't want to wear ribbons, but they would look all cute in them. And I love fuzzy fur! And I never met a bunny which smelt of chocolate. Awesome!" He really wished he could meet the Easter bunny, too. It sounded like the best bunny ever!

"Okay! I'll check this tree!" Lelouch looked at a big tree. Some of the roots were partly above the ground so that there were lots of little nooks and crannies to be found.

"People always say I'm too trusting too. I think though that as long as you make sure they look friendly, there's nothing wrong with being nice to strangers. And I'm sure all your subjects will love you." Trotting over to the flowers, she carefully tapped it twice with her paw to give any potential residents the chance to escape. She didn't particularly want to be bitten by a strange insect. After a few seconds, she then began to rummage through the leaves and flowers, enjoying the sweet scent as the nectar rubbed off her fur. It was a delicate balance between not damaging anything and making sure she searched thoroughly enough.

"Yes, most bunnies I've met hate ribbons too. But I think the Easter bunny wears his ribbon so people know he's the Easter bunny. Plus I imagine all the chocolate would make him really relaxed," she grinned as he told her about Mr. Fluffy, "When I was your age I had a little stuffed toy raccoon called Bandit. He wasn't as cute as a bunny perhaps but I used to take him everywhere with me." Her dad had been surprised when she'd chosen a raccoon instead of a pretty pony or a cat or something. Then again, her sister had chosen a toy ghost so clearly they weren't the most normal family around.

"Okay then. Make sure you're careful!" She trusted he would be, but it was best to warn him all the same. She could remember all too well that confident feeling that accompanied youth

"Yeah! Everyone loves me a lot, so I think it's okay, too! People get ridiculously attached to me really quickly! ...I don't really know what these big words mean, but Daddy told me that and I know it's a good thing. I think it means that everyone thinks I'm awesome." Lelouch didn't like big adult words too much, clearly. Making his way to the tree, he put his basket down so that he could bend down better to check for eggs.

"That's awesome! Do you think I can come with you to take the eggs back? I really want to see the Easter bunny! I'd have to ask Daddy first, of course!" Lelouch really, really wanted to pet the Easter bunny. And maybe take it with him to his other bunnies and keep it forever... He looked up when Iota talked about her stuffed animal. "And where is your raccoon now?" he asked. He wasn't quite sure what a raccoon was, but it was probably a really cute animal as well.

"I am!" Lelouch started peeking into all the nooks and crannies made by the roots. It was hard work since he had to lie down ever so often to look under the roots. "I wish I would be as small as a bunny!"

"'Awesome' is probably the best way to explain it." She grinned, still rummaging amongst the flowers. A bit of pollen got up her nose, causing her to have a minor sneezing fit. It was a very good thing she didn't suffer from hayfever. Even the tiniest sneeze usually made her eyes run, so that would be unbearable.

"I would think that should be okay, if your daddy says it is," she managed to hide the worried tone from her voice, though inside she was panicking slightly. What if he got all upset when she couldn't take him to see the Easter bunny? She'd feel awful then. Then again, perhaps she could just convice a Cuniflare to dress up for her. If worse came to worst, she could always say that the Easter bunny was feeling too shy, "And he's at my home, out by Roraldi Forests. Actually, I still sleep with him at night. It's rather childish but I couldn't bear to part with him." Her sister had teased her terribly about that. In a weird way, Iota almost missed that. She hardly ever saw her sister anymore.

"I know what you mean! It would certainly make things easier," she was about to give up when her nose touched something hard. Her tails twitching, she called out happily, "Ooh, I might have found something!"

"Yay, I'm awesome!" Happily, Lelouch continued with his work. By now, his fur had gotten quite dirty, but like most boys, he didn't mind. After all, he wasn't in his human form and had no clothes which could get damaged and so, his father couldn't get all that angry with him. And it was for the Easter bunny, after all!

"I'm sure it'll be! Maybe Dio wants to come as well! He's an adult, but he loves bunnies, too!" Lelouch never doubted that Iota was telling the truth; after all, he knew that Evelon was a magical place, so clearly, there had to be an Easter bunny! And indeed, he was rather trusting, after all. "You should always keep him! Mr. Fluffy is my friend and I would never give him away!" The thought that someone would think of it as childish to have a stuffed animal made no sense to Lelouch. After all, cuddling was awesome, no matter if you cuddled with a toy or with someone else!

"Awesome!" Lelouch wanted to rush over to see what Iota had found when he suddenly saw something colorful as well. He knelt down. There was indeed an egg under a root. "There's an egg here as well!" He tried to reach it with his paw, but he couldn't get it into the small space under the root. "I can't reach it! Oh no, I'm not small and adorable enough! Can you get your egg?"
