It felt like it had been forever since Xadoc had ventured from the clan's home.  He'd been busy making his nest with Giada, as well as assisting the three den-builders.  The three females were grateful for his help, but he kept his distance from all but those that he knew intimately.

It was hard to believe that the Pantheon was dissolved.  The Celestial Beings had disappeared, and the Paragon of the Pantheon found themselves locked in their Paragon forms permanently.  Xadoc didn't mind this--he spent most of his time in his Paragon form, anyways.

No, something else was bothering him.

For weeks, Xadoc had felt as though something was missing.  Giada had noticed that he seemed a little off, and she had told him to go and venture out into the forest.  Xadoc did so, and when he had gotten a few miles from the nest, he saw something move in the mists.

"I was beginning to think I'd never find you... brother," a voice said quietly.

Brother? Xadoc thought, stepping closer to the figure.  "Who are you?" he asked, plainly.  When the other figure stepped forward, Xadoc could see plainly--he was another Nago Paragon, much like he.  In fact, the two were nearly identical, save for the fact that this stranger had more blue hues, while Xadoc had more pinkish hues to his coloration.

"My name," the Paragon said, "is Codax.  And you... you're Xadoc, aren't you?"

Xadoc stared blankly for several moments.  After a few moments, however, the pink Nago gasped as he took a step back.

"You--but you were dead!" he cried.
