Tristanis knew this place like the back of his hand. The humanform Lucain moved easily among the mists and the darkness, hand tightly gripping that of his Bonded, his Xo'keye, as he led them deeper and deeper into the woods, past where any sane Lucain might stop. These woods were often said to be haunted, but Tris had a way with spirits, and he knew they would leave him pretty much alone. If they didn't, he had ways to deal with that, too.
He reached a clearing just as night was starting to fall hardcore, and a mantle of stars glistened overhead. The place was somewhat creepy, pretty stars or not. There was a lake here, covered in mist as was most of the rest of the forest.
"Come on, Xo... Nobody's going to get us here. I don't think anyone could find us here if they tried." Tristanis said softly, finally letting go of the other's hand, and gesturing up. "Look at the stars... There are so many out tonight!"
