Kane leaned into her stranger's paw, purring quite loudly. As he moved to drink from the stream, she blinked at him, undeniably perplexed. Slinking up to the creek, she narrowed her eyes at it. Slowly, she sniffed it warily and lowered her nose to it. When she came into contact with the cold, wet surface, she jerked backwards, taking a few drops of water with her. She roiled at their touch, flinging her head about before slapping the water with a paw. Just as her paw hit the stream, she flung herself backwards with an inaudible hiss. Landing a good few feet away, she sat down, fur fluffed up and tails twitching.
It was a good thing her stranger wasn't expecting a response, since it wasn't clear if Kane was even listening. She just kept finding a new part of the stream to glare at, looking thoroughly offended.
