The scout wasnt about to complain--he certainly didn't want to face the crowd of concerned peers and try to put their minds at ease. That truly was a job for someone else. He only nodded slightly as Zas and Mercury took their leave to follow the others, placing a paw on Rollo's shoulder for mock-comfort. Radek looked to his companion from the morning and offered a half smile.
"Amunret will be along soon, just stay put. Asia and I need to discuss plans once I know Hadi has found the other scouts."
Again Renji nodded. He was already working on that--adjusting his internal volume to try and hear into the forest. A flutter of wings, rustling leaves in too great a number to be from moving air. He smiled meekly back.
"I think I've got them heading this way now sir."
Radek nodded and looked towards the direction Renji had his ears pulled back to. Sure enough, a splash of blue fur and cream fur could be seen over the foliage. Hadi was no where to be seen with them--Radek could only assume she'd gone back out to see the extent of the territory infiltration (in hopes of reward, of course).
"Good, I'll leave you to give them instruction on what we're doing. Well done today, Renji,
thank you."
