Radek
The Trikuhna rose from his den with a yawn and a full body stretch as he peeked out into the new morning light. Though the Whisper Forest was mainly flat land for ones as small as the Kuhnas making their home there, some areas were raised into small hilly regions. This happened to be one, and it was here that the majority of the dens and burrows had been constructed. A small rocky outcropping sat within view to the north--the last strong vantage point their home had should they fall under attack. Radek stretched once more for good measures and began making his way over to it and the furry figure he could see waiting atop.
The climb was easy and practiced. Within moments the Trikuhna was taking his place beside the much grumpier looking Lykuhna who had already taken up position there.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked casually before grooming a paw. The female barely bothered to cast her gaze in his direction.
"My sleep patterns are none of your concern."
Anthanasia "Asia"
She softened, ever so briefly, and finally looked his way. "The night hunters haven't returned yet and it's daybreak." It was all she offered him, but Radek didn't need any further information. For all her bluster, Asia was a caring matriarch of the clan. She was the first, after all, and she had seen many get lost again who grew bored of clan life or just lazy and unobservant. Their little patch of heaven was in the heart of the forest where no mist and fog seemed willing to touch. Here they could survive in peace happily...if they stayed. Once someone wandered back out into the mists...they were dead to the clan.
"Maybe just a rough night's hunt, let's give them some more time."
