"You know that I'm willing to help you there," Xyshari said. "I know that everything happens as the Force wills, but damn it if I'm not going to try and keep my wife alive as best I can until I can't anymore," she said, and Lana offered a smile as she crossed over to Xyshari, giving her a gentle kiss on the lips.

"I know, my love," Lana said. "Anyway, let's see about that spar, shall we?" she said, grinning as she strode away from her wife. Xyshari blinked, then looked over to Ti. His arms were crossed, and he had a smirk on his face.

"Don't even think about it," Xyshari said, barely able to keep from giggling.

"All I was going to say is she clearly has an affect on you," Ti said. "As I said before, I'm happy that you found someone that has that affect on you. After Loq died... I wasn't sure you'd ever smile again."

"Yes, and it didn't help that Ken literally shut off the ship engines when we were trying to leave without attracting any attention," Xyshari said with a sigh. "I can only hope that he understood in the end - he already knows he'll outlive his wife and child, most likely."

"So, you're... what? Running away?" he had asked them both angrily.

"Ken, please--" Xyshari had pleaded. "Let us go."

"No," he said firmly, and the ship's engines powered down. Xyshari sighed; she knew that he had powered them down with mechu-deru. "This is not the Xyshari that I know. The Xyshari I know would have to be held back from going after the Sith that did this to Loq because I know what he's capable of."

"The Xyshari you knew didn't just die a little because she lost a Force-bond," she said, powering up the engines in the same way he'd shut them down. "I can't do this anymore."

"And you?" Ken asked, turning to Ti.

"She's my sister. I told her I would be there for her if she needed... and that we needed to leave. The fact of the matter is, my life and hers are intrinsically tied together now. If one of us dies... so too will the other. We'd rather our end be peaceful, instead of frantically trying to find the other before the end because one fell in battle," Ti said. Ken glared at them both, then spun around quickly. He said nothing, and the two of them got on the ship quickly, leaving before he could come back.

"...I wish we'd been able to avoid that," Xyshari said finally, turning to head to the sparring arena.

"Who knows where he ended up after all that," Ti said, following after her. "Now, let's see how this Sith of yours handles us in a fight."

"Oh, she can handle me just fine in a fight," Xyshari said. "But that's just me... I don't think she realizes the depths of our bond."

In the sparring arena, Lana sat on the ground, clearly meditating. Her saber was gripped in her hand, and after a moment, she stood up, opening her eyes as she noticed Ti and Xyshari there. She gripped her saber in a hammer grip, igniting the amethyst blade and taking a ready stance.

"Shall we?" she asked.
