The Kuni returned a happy squeak of her own as the other circled her, twitching her fins friendily. As it swam off, she gave equal chase, close behind. After, fetching sticks had made her at least as fast as any Kuni. Pup swam a little ways under it, playfully trying to cut it off from below.

Yumiko briskly stuck her head under the water, squinting her eyes just enough to see where she was going. She almost immediately caught sight of a bright pink egg tied up in the seaweed. Being careful to keep her already-found eggs on her wingblades, she used her tails and hind legs to untie the egg from the kelp. Grabbing it was another issue, however. She used her tails to flick small waves of water at the egg, forcing it up to the surface. When the pink egg popped up in front of her, she grinned and gently took it in her mouth. "Well that was easy enough," she said, placing the egg between her wingblades. "Now... I think I'll go for egg #14!"

Sukuza could see the egg getting closer as she swam steadly. She sighed.

"Just a few more feet and I'll get it." Sukuza said.

The brute continued on, keeping his slow pace. He was feeling well rested now but decided to keep his steady pace just for the heck of it. Sogekihei nearly felt he could go to sleep but the competition was still going so the brute kept going. The water was cool; the air felt good; it was a nice day. Soge sighed, glancing towards the shore as to when he could actually go there. Soon, but not now.

The kuni started squirming as soon as he felt the other ones tail around his. Ew, yuck! No get off!
He was a slippery thing, probably slower to amphibious then fishy in this case as he slipped out of Dimas’s grip (tail too), stepped on his head and jumped into the water, diving down. There, much better!

The kuni squealed, dancing around Pup light and airy. It was so much EASIER to play with another kuni, you didn’t even have to try and it wasn’t scary at all. A few times Pup would get so close to even touch the egg but when that happened the other kuni would speed up and away to avoid being tagged.

The event kuni had all the room and all the directions in the world to choose from so trying to cut him off from going down was no big. Up, up and AWAY~!

Naomi sighed. She pressed her wings down, diving deeper to underneath the Kuni and taking advantage of some of the stronger water riptides that could form, beforce shooting up. She was attempting to literally get the Kuni into the air, either by forcing it up or by pushing it up, and then grab it, because she was a much better flier/jumper than the blue animal. She was a dragon, after all.

As she suspected, it didn't take long for her to reach her next egg. Still careful not to disturb any grains (though a few did clog the waters momentarily) she slowly floated through the water until she thought she spotted something else. Waiting for the sand to settle, she pawed at the egg until it was within grabbing distance. Bingo!

Triumphantly adding it to her little hoard, she decided to stick to her method of choosing eggs nearby. In that case, egg #16 would be her next goal

Yumiko sighed as she stared out over the water. She couldn't see the egg she wanted; it was so far away. Well, better get swimming. The Lucain spun her tails like a propeller, and let her hindlegs and forelegs rest. She had been swimming for quite a while; a rest would do her good, and she was still moving at a decent pace with her tails spinning.

"There it is!" Sukuza said. She grabbed the egg and put in inside the pouch. She knew the next she was going after, Egg 10#.

Dimas held on as tight as he could to the kuni but it was no use. It slipped out of his grasp easily and darted away, but not before stepping on his head which he did not enjoy. He rubbed his head with a paw, annoyed, and searched the watery depths for the kuni. He couldn't go after it since he really couldn't see under water but he'd have to get it somehow. Then, he saw a bit of movement. It might have been a trick of the light so eh waited a bit more and when he saw another flash of light blue he dove after it, reaching with his paws.

He sent quite a spray of water in his wake as he headed under. Dimas kicked deeper, hoping he could find the kuni before he ran out of air and had to return to the surface.

Pup put on a small burst of speed as the other Kuni shot upwards. It had been a while since she'd played with others Kunis, and Pup was enjoying herself very much. She made an ultrasonic chirp, taunting the egg kuni (but not in a mean way). She continued to try and block it from trying to swim down, though. The other couldn't go up forever, since there was the surface of the water, but the ocean was deep here, and down was a long ways off. As long as it continued up or stayed on a flat plane, it created a much easier game for Pup.

It was a slow pace towards the next egg, but continuous. At least the Paragon was getting somewhere. The brute kept his pace slow, regaining his lost strength from the battle with the seaweed and the whirlpool. It was working quite nicely actually.

Sh couldn't wait to get back into thoe shallows! The she could just walk and drift, enjoying the cool ocean. But it was so far... Well, better get to paddling.

Yumiko smiled as the waves lapped at her fur, cooling her down after the hot sun bore down on her. "I'd better hurry," she murmured, looking around. "There are hardly any eggs left!" The black Lucain started to slowly churn the water with her hind legs, propelling her forward a bit faster than before.
