The little kuni squealed before turning tail and running... er, swimming. Oh man he did NOT want to be caught by this guy. Large yellow eyes had to squint as the water moved about him, the force he was creating was quite a lot. He couldn’t swim like this forever, hopefully he had lost the other one, or at least created a large enough gap. He spun around to face Dimas, actually “spinning out” and completing two or three full circles before he managed to come to a full stop, the sea creature looking dizzy.

The kuni, blinded by... dust stuff blindly swam downwards to try and get some breathable, er, water. Anyway he was so frantic to get out of the dangerous cloud that he swam pretty fast, a break neck pace. The metallic arm missed him by 3 feet at least and... now you’re missing an arm, dude.

Now that she was away from the Kunis, the water was much calmer. The Kuni was careful not to go in the direction of the reef again; she didn't want to encounter the Gorgeel. Instead Pup was swimming in the direction of shore. She remembered a lot of eggs being in this area, so hopefully there were still some left.

"I'm catching up!" Yumiko laughed as the distance between her and the fish began to shrink to just about a foot. Determination surged through her as she shot forward. She barely noticed that she was now neck-and-neck with the fish. She grinned triumphantly. "I'm about to win my first swimming race."

Noami dived, retriving and repairing her arm. She loved being a robot. Everything on her, including her head, was detatchable. She dived fter the Kuni. She was ready to just swim for it. She was running out of strategy.

Closer still, the quiet Paragon kept his steady pace. He was in rush, just as he was before. He felt the eggs in his mouth, making sure they were all still there, while continuing his swim for the egg. He wondered how his partner was doing. Sogekihei hadn't seen her since the very beginning, but all the same he was sure she was working on getting other eggs.

Now this was more like it! Having picked yet another nearby egg, she could relax more and get some of her energy back. Better yet, it was even required that she move slow so as not to disturb the sand. This one was a little harder to find, but with a few quick head ducks and some careful moving around, she soon found the final round object in the area.

Pleased with herself, she went to grab it but was startled when she accidentally pushed it, the oval shape almost completely disappearing into the sand. Frantically she began to dig it up, scattering sand everywhere and disturbing the fragile ground. She sighed with relief when she finally had it secure in her mouth, her tails wagging happily.

"Darn tricky egg." She grinned, attaching it safely so it couldn't slip away again. Wow, this event was sending her round the bend! She'd be talking to the seaweed next. Speaking of which, it was about time to pay a little visit to egg #10 and check out that lovely area she'd heard about

Just a bit further and the brute would make it. Sogekihei however did not speed up, knowing he would only tire himself out again. The Paragon kept going at a steady pace, his eyes spotting where the egg was that he was after. It would be just under the water, probably where he could just lower his head and grab it. He'd be there soon to snap it up and go to another one.

Finally, she made it far enough to wade in the shallows. Her bundled-up wings were getting stiff, so she stretched them to air them out. The wind on her wet wing membrane was fiercely cold. She gritted her teeth and walked on.

The kuni squealed, zipping around the robot. Oh this was fun! The kuni, though, continued to keep out of Naomi’s grasp. Were you rusting or something down here, you silly robot! Neener neener neener~!

Swimming fairly gracefully through the water, Zeta grinned brightly. She was really enjoying herself now, and it looked like where she was heading was even nicer than where she'd been before. As the sand beneath her sloped gradually, she was able to slow to a gentle float. Admiring the bright beauty of the surroundings, she was careful not to let her (or her eggs) disturb any of the locals.

It didn't take her long to find the egg, peeking out among the colourful wildlife. A bright orange crab lurked nearby, watching the Lucain with cautious eyes. Not really sure how she could reassure a crab, she attempted to make several soothing noises as she reached for the egg. As a sharp pincer nipped her paw, she drew it back in surprise. Scowling and cursing under her breath, she reached out again and managed to grasp the slippery object this time. Triumphantly, she pulled it out and pulled an indignant, friendly tongue at the crab.

Nice try... Drawing back, she glanced around. Egg#11 bobbed not too far away, looking like a good a target as any to go for. On with the hunt!

Dimas increased his speed when he saw that the kuni was dizzy and distracted. He tried to go quietly so he wouldn't alert the kuni right away. This creature could just dart off in any direction and Dimas would lose his chances of getting the egg forever. Long, strong strokes propelled him through the water toward his goal quite smoothly. he was really getting the hang of this swimming thing. he would need a really long drink of water after, though. The salt was really drying out his mouth.

With the kuni still dizzy, Dimas kicked as hard as he could so he could lunge out of the water and hopefully pin the kuni under him. He was glad a wave was there to help him get high enough so he wouldn't just smash right into the creature.

She found the egg! With ease, she managed to grab it and put it in the pouch.

As the water started to shallow, Pup noticed a current snaking through the water nearby. She'd have to be careful to avoid it; they were always hard to escape from. Her eyes continued to scan around her, looking for an egg.

Yumiko was now a few inches ahead of the fish. The scaly creature stopped abruptly, and just floated in the water. Yumiko gasped and whirled around to face the fish, which was swimming slowly forward. It flicked its tail cutely, then nonchalantly swam away. "I guess I won the race," the Lucain murmured, almost sadly. It was fun racing the fish; why'd it have to give up like that? "Bye, little fish!" Yumiko called after it. She turned around again, and continued to paddle in the direction of the shore, where her next egg was.
