Suddenly he burst forward, snatching the bucket up and running out into the ocean. He would not give up! Quitting was for people who can't do it. He can do it, and he would do it! He ducked the bucket into the water and ran back to shore, breathing heavy. "I will not give up." he told himself repeatedly.
About you and me: it's plain to see,
We only ever want to stay inside and watch TV,
Because that's just as good a memory,

And I am finally accepting that.

"I will not give up, no." he said again, trudging up the sandy beach. He headed for the palm forest, his claws kicking up sand. He smiled, then started to sing.
"I once knew man, a sailing man
who was great as great can be,
he tried to find some buried treasure
deep in the salty sea, DEEP IN THE SALTY SEA!" he sang loudly, then quieted as he reached the forest. He hoped his little sea shanty didn't scare the Palmies away.
