[Kitsune_Beauty]

A gentle tune flowed over the waters of Dead Coast. The waters seemed to dance as the notes bounced off it's shimmering surface. If one were to follow these melodic sounds, they would come apon a common battleheart, his only companion a singing ms. wilson perched on his shoulder. Laying on his stomach as he strummed the japanese instrument on the ground in front of him.

The ms. wilson's voice imitated that of Tomiko Van, the lead singer of Do As Infinity, perfectly. The great battleheart gazed out over the waters as he strummed the tune for his friend's beautiful voice. The battleheart was Jakuza, leader of the others like himself back home. The ms. wilson was dubbed Amuro.

Mariana, Morning Kitrell

The sound of another song could also be heard on the shores of the Dead Coast, that of a little Morning Kitrell.  She was merely flying along, singing a simple song that she had heard Fire humming:

She sighed as she thought about the words to that song; sad yet so powerful...  She almost didn't notice the Battleheart and the Mr... Er, Ms... Wilson up ahead.

Jakuza was so absorbed in his thoughts that Amuro was the first to notice the lovley voice of the kitrell. "Come to me now, slowly~." she sang, using a line from Sacrifice by t.A.T.u. Knowing she meant someone was coming, the battleheart lifted his head. His soft, blue eyes watched her a moment as he let himself melt into her voice. Stopping his strumming for a moment, he changed his tune to match her song.

Even though the creature was much smaller than himself, Jakuza found himself mesmorized by her angelic wings and glistening fur. The sun reflected off her blue feathers and the water created dancing patterns on her body. A peaceful growl bubbled from Jakuza's throat as the beautiful creature neared them. "You are beautiful, no matter what they say~" The battleheart blushed as Amuro blirted his thoughts.

Mariana flew slightly closer still to the Battleheart, singing the same song, but this time, in English.  "At times, love nobly seeks out, to pierce people's hearts.  Ah...~" She looked over at Jakuza and smiled, moving onto the next line.  "The ones protected by the ones who protect, they always shine forth to become a single power..." Looking directly at him now, she finally spoke in someting other than song.  "I am Mariana." She said simply, smiling brightly.

The large creature smiled as well as he strummed the last bits of her song. "I am Jakuza." he replied. The plump little bird fluttered over to the kitrell and hovered in front of her a moment. "Amuro. Amuro." she chirped an introduction before awkwardly gliding back to her friend. Jakuza laughed softly. "And as you've noticed, my friend here is Amuro." That smile of her's seemed to be no comparison to the sun on the waters. "Mariana...Such a name magnifies the beauty of the scene." He uncurled the fingers on his claw torward the sun that was beginning to sink closer to the water's edge. "I feel good enough, for you to love me too~" Once again Amuro's voice sang Jakuza's thoughts, causing his scaly face to turn a shade of red. The sang line the bird sang was from Good Enough, by Evanescence.

Mari felt herself blushing at Jakuza's comment, and then at the line the Ms. Wilson sang.  "In a perfect world... One we've never known... we would never need to face the world alone...~" She sang softly, a smile on her little face and a gleam of the late sun in her purple eyes.

Once again the battleheart strummed the tune to Mariana's song. Amuro, of course, had her own ideas for a befitting song. "Everything that you feel, is everything that I feel, so when we dream...We shout....We shout~" Kitsune often listened to t.A.T.u at home and the ms. wilson had memorized alot of their songs. Another growl emitted from the dragon's throat, almost as if he were purring. Ah Amuro. He hadn't had her very long and already she was able to get inside the gaint truffle's head. Jakuza's large, blue eyes stayed transfixed on Mari as the gorgeous creature's angelic voice flowed over the waters. By now the sun was painting the sky in brilliant shades of orange, red, and pink. Jakuza had never felt so at peace.

Mari smiled yet again, her heart soaring as she closer her eyes, flying closer to the Battleheart.  He wasn't like Amethysta, the Common Battleheart, back home.  No... he was more like Deana or Zenia; caring and gentle.  "When did you fall in love with me?  Was it out of the blue; 'cause I swear I never knew it...~" She sang quietly, a smile on her face.

Jakuza smiled and glanced at Amuro as Mariana began singing again. "I think you know what I'm feeling, dear friend. Sing it proudly for me." If one looked close enough they could almost see the bright smile on Amuro's beak as she fluttered into the air again, flying figure 8's around Jakuza and Mari's heads. "Some hearts just get all the right breaks, some hearts have the stars on their side, some hearts may just have it so easy, some hearts just get lucky sometimes, some hearts just get lucky, lucky sometimes~" The dragon reached up and, as tenderly as if she would break at the slightest pressure, ran a finger across the bird's feathers. There was a notable change in Amuro's tone as she continued singing.

Mari felt herself blush again as she asked, rather than sang, "What is love?  I'm not sure I know what it is, but I think this is it... My heart feels at peace when I'm with you, oh; is this love, is this love?" She landed on the sands next to the ocean, wrapping her blue wings around her.  "If this is love, oh; I don't ever wanna leave you... Oh, is this love, is this love?"

Jakuza reached a 'hand' out and, as gently as if he was stroking a newbord kit, ran a scaly finger along Mari's wing. "I feel as if I'v found something that I'v been searching for all my life. I feel the connection with you cannot and shall not be broken." Amuro fluttered about in awkward circles around the battleheart's head. "My love for you, always forever, just you and me, all else is nothing, not goin' back, not goin' back there, they don't understand, they don't understand us.~" Jakuza's blue eyes sparkled against the setting sun's reflection on the water as the ms. wilson sang a line from Not Gonna Get Us by t.A.T.u.

Mari's eyes closed gently as she listened to Jakuza's words.  "This is what I'd want to say to you if I had one chance to speak to your heart: you are loved, more than you could ever know...~" She smiled again as she flittered onto Jakuza's shoulder.

Jakuza turned his large head and gently nuzzled the little creature on his shoulder. The sun had set under the glassy surface of the water by now, only leaving the dimming purple and pink rays for any sort of light. "It is getting quite late, my dear. I hear my humanoid has renovated the pens back home. Would you enjoy spending a night with me? I'll make sure Yazoo behaves himself." Amuro, of course, had a song to encourage the situation. "And I need you, and I miss you, and now I wonder, if I could fall, into the sky, do you think time, would pass me by, cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you, tonight~"

Mariana smiled.  "Oh, what I'd give just to be by your side... to be with you for all time... just to hear you say I~ love you~" She sang, smiling.  "I will come with you." She said, wrapping her wings around her body as her tail swayed around.
