Welcome to the Dead Coast, home to the world's largest bucket of salt! Located nearest the Re'nee Sea, this small port-city is home for all opportunists who would gather the sea's salt deposits left on the shores and sell them for profit. (+2 to Endurance)

Return to Dead Coast

Dry observed the newcomer with a smile, and would have offered his name if Tapi hadn't beaten him to it.

"Grandpa?" she asked, whirling to the new voice.  Her eyes grew wider as he spoke, confirming Ael's tale.  She shook her head in wonder; too much, too much.  "Oof," she said, falling onto her rump.  The femme was shocked and more than a little bit overwhelmed as she stared up at her relative; today was bringing more excitement than she'd anticipated.  She was having trouble organizing her thoughts enough to blurt out a coherent sentence.  "You're royalty," she breathed in awe, her incredulous eyes trained on Lennox's face.

Len chuckled.  "Yes, although I prefer not to advertise it to the world.  I like solitude most of the time, but it seems that both of my daughters have found out about this, and while I know not what your aunt has done with the tale, but it's evident that you three are quite interested in this fact." He said.

Ael felt herself blush as she said, "I shall admit, I had a hard time believing it myself, Father.  But I find it totally understandable that you'd want to keep it a secret.  The way royalty is received sometimes--it amazes me." She shook her head as Miria plopped herself down in front of Lennox, with Hurui joining them.  However, Lennox's eyes were fixed on Dripdry.

"And you would be the father of these lovely little children here, yes?  It's an honor to meet you." He said, his head lowering slightly as Ael tried to hide a red tint that had crept into her cheeks.

Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this to see what's behind
Got no way to prove it, so maybe I'm lying
Take a look in the mirror, what do you see
Can you see it clearer, or are you deceived in what you believe?
Don't ask my opinion, don't ask me to lie
Then beg for forgiveness for making you cry
'cause I'm no prophet or Messiah
You should go looking somewhere higher

I'm only human, I make mistakes
I'm only human, I do what I can
I'm only human, that's all it takes to put the blame on me

Don't put the blame on me
