Milos pulled away from Alana. "Alana, whats wrong?" then he saw the wound. "How did that appear there?"
Milos hastily peered outside, but no one was out there. That ruled out the theory of a sniper.
He returned to Alana. If only they hadn't left their belongings at the breeding center! No doubt either he or Alana would have some sort of healing material between the two of them.
Maybe he was getting too worried about this, but it had appeared so suddenly, and Alana had hissed something strange... it was only natural for him to become worried.

Alana's voice was a thin whisper as she said, "Foul spirits... Elder demons... Demon Prince... the demon I once trusted..." She let out a small groan as she let her wings fall limp from her body.  The blood trickled down her golden body as she whispered, "I forgot that... that my former fiancee... knew magic... he could be miles from... someone... and he could... kill them without a single... thought..."

Milos, remembering Alana's words, ripped a handful of lambs-ear leaves of the bush. Remembering a few words from a from a past friend, he pressed the leaves over the bleeding, applying pressure, to try and stop the blood flow.
"Your... fiancee? What did you say his name was? I can help." Milos said through gritted teeth. It seemed like his lessons would have to come in to play, more earlier than he expected. Xali'an had told him how to trace the source of magic, and all the requirements for a spell where all around him...
Once he had traced the magic, he could easily track down this murderer...
"Alana... does he mean to kill you? For going off with... me?"

"I... I don't know about g-going off with... you... so m-much as j-just... being... alive..." Alana struggled to say.  "Re... Re'elkiin... h-he... rejected me af-after... I refused t-to... to help him... with his pl-plan to... to..." She shuddered as she told herself to calm down; this wasn't going to help her any.  But the last few little words had to be said, otherwise, that left the "plan" open to just about anything.

Milos nodded slowly, taking in this information. "What can I do? Is there anything that can be done to stop this magic?" He asked, too trying to keep himself calm.
Milos, himself hated most kinds of destructive magic, being a non-magic user. He could do simple things, like trace spells, but he was taught how to do that by the witch-docter, Xali'an.
What this Re'elkiin wanted to do, was none of his concern, all he wanted was to find him and make him stop this torture. Perhaps he could help, but what could a thief do?

Alana nodded weakly as her eyes slowly closed.  It was almost futile to try and fight to keep her eyes open, but to close them might have very well meant death.  "He is... unable to defend against... anything weaker... than his own... it slips through... and takes away his energy..." She whispered.  This was the last thing she wanted to endure while with someone, but Re'elkiin must have been furious about something to her when she'd thought that he had forgotten her.
