Silk Larvie

The Dead Coast. Fallingfeather had heard about it, and despite its name, was supposed to be a pretty nice place, with sandy beaches and a couple salt encrusted rocks here and there. What she woulden't do for one of those nice sandy right now.

"Augh!" Fallingfeather exclaimed as she scraped her hand on ANOTHER rock. She didn't know WHAT wrong turn she made, but this was NOT what she thought the Dead Coast would be like. The Palm Trees on one side of the beach were just as easy to have her scrape her hand on then the rocks, and just as hard to get through.

She was exhausted, and the overwieght Silk Larvie on her head was NOT helping. She lifted Chi off, and set her on one of the smoother rock. She took a swig of bottled water, gave some to Chi and told her "You do some walking yourself for now, okay?" So she set off. But she had only gone about 5 feet when she turned around to see Chi string at her with an adorable face that no one could resist.

Fallingfeather sighed "OKAY, I suppose you can ride in my backpack." Fallingfeather hopped back over and lifted her up and zipped her into her backpack, letting her head peek through. "Now lets go find ourselves a beach, okay?"

Damian's head broke the surface of the water, today's fishing had be excellent and he would eat well tonight. He saw a girl climbing the rocks of the Coast, and not well. He laughed at how adorable it looked as she attempt to scale the black igneous. "Hey up there!" he called,"Where you headed?"

Fallingfeather jumped, and winced as in doing that, she had scraped her hands yet again. She looked out over the water, to see a head bobbing there. Stumbling down to some of the lower rocks, she looked closer to see the boy calling to her from the water.

Keeping her dignity, she called back. "I'm looking for a Palmie, even though its none of your buissness." Chi popped out of her backpack and let out a little cry. "And this is Chi. Who are you?"

"The name's Damian, Palmie eh...!" said Damian as he climbed from his position in the water up the side of the Coast with incredible ease. "Do you mind if I help? I haven't had an adventure in a good long while." he said smiling. "Want a fish...I was gonna cook these up...and I caught to many...."

The Dead Coast. Ryuzaki had investigated places like this, but nothing had prepared him for what he was greeted by. He adjusted his wings thoughtfully and flicked his tail, then began to pad along the coastline.

Nia, on the other hand, had noticed Damian climb out of the water and eagerly ran to meet him. "Hello! I'm Nia," he said, bowing his head graciously. "What may I call you?" Ryuzaki, who had followed Nia's trail by scent, rolled his eyes at his young friend. he was wary as he approached, eying the Hydrolisk and the human with morbid curiosity.

"My name is Damian! You want some fish, I was just about to cook up some lunch!", Damian smiled and tilted his head to the left, he noticed Ryuzaki's discontent but just saw it as the guy being weird. "Of course you may have some too my Youyuu friend."

[Scissorhands]

Nia nodded gratefully and padded closer. "Don't worry about Ryuzaki...he's nervous about everyone!" the Rexxel laughed; it sounded like the tinkling of bells in the wind.

"Hmph...can't ever be too careful..." the quiet Yonyuu replied, adjusting his wings and sitting in the sand.

"So," said Damian, shifting the sand to build a fire pit,"What brings you to the coast? It's not just good fish is it?" Damian winked at the pair in a joking manner. Damian gathered some dried driftwood and two flint from his pack and lit the fire. It was comforting and warm.

Noel Fenling

 Noel was walking along the beach hoping to find a Palmie or some salt to sell. So far she hadn't found anything. She saw a group of palm trees and started to sneak slowly toward them. She was sure  she would find one today.She stopped and looked carefully. She thought she saw one of them moving. She stood very still trying to contain her excitement of it possibly being a Palmie. It started hopping towards the water for a drink. Noel quietly started to sneak up on it. It turned and saw her and started hopping away rapidly."PALMIE!" Noel hollered to alert some others if they were nearby.

Damian decided that his "private" spot was getting a little too crouded and dived back into the ocean, leaving the fish for the people he had met. Hopefully they would enjoy them, and as he knew there are always more fish in the sea.

Nia and Ryuuzaki watched the Hydrolisk disappear beneath the waves. "...he was nice." Nia murmured, picking at the fish Damian had left behind. Ryuuzaki nodded slowly and began to eat his fish as well, occasionally casting a glance at the edge of the palm tree forest.
