South Wind was just taking a light fly before stopping to relax at the beach when he noticed two pets at the vendors. He swooped down and alighted near them, wobbling the rest of the way. "Hey." he squawked, trying to get their attention. "Whatcha doing?" he asked.

South Wind smiled. He made two friends! Sort of. "Oh, I am known as South Wind, but my owners, Rena and Marie call me S.W.." he squaked. He wobbled over to them. "And I would like to help you." he cawed, and waited for them to say something. Both were very... interesting.

S.W. quickly went after them, slowing as he came up beside Ridge. "So, Rainbow sand, huh? I don't think I've ever seen something like that before. All I have to say is: Why?" he asked. "Rainbow sand is an odd thing to ask for."

S.W. sighed. He looked at the next vendors coming up. "Hey, that looks rainbow-ish." he ran over to it, then realized it was just blue, red and yellow sand. He sighed. "Darn." he cawed, and went back over to Paryth and Ridge. "Hmm... what kind of project?" he asked.

S.W. smiled at him for trying, and decided to try for himself. He walked up to a vendor a couple shops up. "Excuse me, sir, but do you know where we could find rainbow sand?" he asked, and the man scratched his 5 o' clock shadow. "Hmm... I think the young lad down there is selling it... but if you want neon sand, I've got tons of it here..." then he noticed that S.W. was a Glacial type. "And I've got some Blue sand that might come to your liking..." he said, but S.W. shook his head. "Sorry, just looking for the rainbow!" he said, and wandered back to them. "The man said that he thinks the boy down their has some." he cawed, and pointed with his wing tip to the small little stand at the end of the walk.

S.W. smiled. "Sounds interesting." he said, then closed his eyes, picturing the Zoo-like pens. "Well, you go through rooms, each about the size of a regualar barn. Some are smaller, for they host smaller residents. And then for the horse-like pets, Rena and her father built a barn, and Marie helped her mother design and put together the Aviary. The Aviary is amazing." he said, and his smile broadened as he thought of the place he spent almost all his time in. "There's this one big hole, closed over by a glass circle, but when you fly up to it, a sensor catches your movement and it opens so you can fly out. And there's nooks and crannies, arranged so each bird like pet fits compfortably in it. But it would be a LOT bigger if the Hollowhearts lived with us. But they have the Gym room. Welll, now it's their room. It used to be a gym where we would all play on rainy days, but Rena and Marie didn't want to leave the Hollowhearts somewhere uncompfortable. So they live in the gym." he said. "But I have lots of friends. There's... Simb??lico, he's really cool, he's a Temple Garudor, and then there's Royal Wings, he's an Imperial Magistrey, he's sometimes arrogant, but when you play air tag with him, he's really a fun character. And he does the coolest air stunts!" he said, and soon they were nearing the boy. "So, you going to ask or should I?"

S.W. followed behind, shuffling his feathers a bit. He was a bit anxious to get off of ground, so he said, "Be back in a tick!" and went up, stretching his wings. He was flying through when he was above the boy's stand. He looked down and saw that the boy didn't have much: about 3 bottles of sand. S.W. flew back down behind Paryth, and let them ask the boy.
