The femme's sardonic expression never shifted as she regarded him, his opinion plain on his features. Indeed, he thought that it was his job to decide everyones' fate for them...Zion could have snorted with sarcasm, but she didn't. She knew that she had been raised better than that.

"Indeed, perhaps you're correct, but that would mean that you have no right to judge who I am either."
She paused, a tiny, indetectable flash of amusement flickering through her silver gaze. Maybe this male wasn't quite as strong as he thought himself...
"I have no way to prove who you are or aren't, and the same goes for you."
Riddles, puzzles...that was how the femme talked when she found someone who could potentially be a right pain-in-the-neck. Usually, she succeeded in piquing them as well.
Except with a little more finesse.

For the love of Xai're... He had never met someone so stubborn in disbelief. Those who had... Well, a little demonstration put them in their place.

"I have the right to judge anyone I deem fit." Still his eyes watched her, a little more than annoyed by this point. "The Gods themselves grant me my place. Who are you to say I have no right to do my job?"

His tail flickered in aggitation.

Ah yes...so her mischevious little ruse was indeed working. Really, it wasn't hard at all to get Krites riled up over a few seemingly casual words, and she could tell that he was having a hard time reigning his temper in.
"Well, how do you know that I myself am not an ambassador of the gods?"
Her gaze flicked to his tails as they lashed, quite surprised at how polite she had managed to sound the whole time, while still managing to get on his nerves. Served him right for treating her like an inferior being.

[Oh hell. I am so sorry this is so late. --; I just kinda... Lost inspiration for Krites.]

As a Judge Krites had to take every word into account... Even those details that seemed so miniscule that they didn't matter to anyone else.

"Because I would know you. The Gods would have told me." He growled a little, watching her carefully. He had all the right to treat anyone he wished as inferior... They needed to respect his judgement. An iron fist needed to keep them under control. "If the Gods grant me my position then they tell me if anyone else is sharing my position."

{It's alright :3 We all get writer's block every now and then, so no biggie ^^}

Oh, this indeed was quite an intriguing character. She studied him, as if she were trying to puzzle out a conondrum, although hadn't yet found the answer. Yes, although he had a knack for getting on her nerves, she would have a most interesting time, trying to figure him out. She couldn't guarantee that they would get along, but no good relationship ever built its foundations upon faulty understanding.
"Well," she said, sounding rather thoughtful as she regarded him. Padding forwards, she walked out of the ocean, pausing on the edge of the shore to shake off her paws before approaching Krites, stopping a few feet away from him and seating herself with a graceful flourish, her head tilted to one side and her ears pricked as her stormy eyes perused him.
"What if there were more than just one set of gods, your gods?"
A slight smile danced upon her lips as she spoke. She would see first, whether or not he was even a worthy candidate of being in her presence. If he had as much brain as he had bark, there might still be hope for this one.

Watching her with discerning eyes the spotted Judge just took note of her. She was not afraid, there was no waver in her step. She was not overly cautious, like she had something to hide. No, confident, and yet a little weary. She had goot right to... Those spikes on his back and elbows had blood spilt upon them many a time. Hers would not be the first nor the last should he decide to strike.

Meeting her stormy eyes with his own blood-like orbs he did not flinch at her gaze nor waver. "There likely are. I abide by the rules of my Gods and no other. If other Gods come to me and ask of my activities I would tell them the same I have said to you."

"Fair enough," she replied indifferently, shrugging. This Krites seemed to be very caught up in these gods of his: Perhaps it was just his superiority complex.
"If I were you though, I would mind to listen to my own advice before giving it to others."
She paused, her silver eyes still locked on his.
"For all you know, my gods could be stronger than yours, or, I might even be one of your gods in disguise, here to test you."
A small smile danced across her features, amused by this volley of verbal attacks. Still though, her voice never changed its polite, serene quality as she spoke: Indeed, she had long since managed to masted the art of hiding her thoughts and emotions behind a smiling face.

Krites merely watched her eyes, not caring about her easy smile or soft demeanor. Many were polite, she had no reason to be... It was rather sickening, that she decided to be polite whne she truly wanted to say something else.

"My Gods would not test me in a mere game of words. You are tested by your actions, not your response to a few ill-gotten ideas."

With a quiet growl he turned to
