Names: Spike and Chris

Chris slashed playfully through the water. He felt the warm sun on his back, the slash of water between his paws, and the crisp salty air in his lungs. Heaven.
Spike suddenly lept on him, biting and clawing. Chris rolled and ran. Spike liked to play rough. He veered off, and ran into the sea, snapping the water joyfully in his jaws. Chris lay down and sunbathed. Spike came over, dripping wet, and shook himself all over Chris. "Hey!" he cried, jumping up and snapping at his older brother. Spike ran back a bit, than sat on the sand which a happy sigh.

Spike got up and ran into the nearby tent. He heard the angry shouts, but he ignored them, and ran to the sea. He plundged in, and felt the salty waters support his body as he swam.

Spike swam out until he hit the payer of jellyfish. He didnt like  them, and they didnt like him, so he swam back the way he had come. He ran up the beach, shaking his coat to dry himself, and rolling in the grass just off coast. He then lept on Chris, play-growling and play-biting. Chris rolled to his left, then sharply right, then he got up and ran for the sea.

Chris closed his eyes tight as the sea spray soaked him. He ran and ran and then it was soo deep, he had to swim. He dove down, with tightly closed eyes, and surfaced again. He opened his eyes..nothing. No Spike. Then something was pulling his leg. He kicked and thrashed, only to have Spike surface in front of him, laughing madly and choking on sea water.

Spike felt a powerful kick in the chest, and threw up salt water. "Thank you," he croaked. Chris smiled and nodded, and started to swim back to the shore. Spike swam after him, and doev down, kicking his legs and wirling his tail to get ahead of him. He surfaced, just at his left. "Haha beating you!" he shouted, and as the water got shallower, he ran ahead of Chris.

Spike ran  onto the sand, and flet it crunch on his paws. Happy, he joyfully ran into the sweet grass, and he saw that Chris had sat down to rest. He turned around and raced at Chris, bowling him over."Oof-Hey!" he cried, as Spike hit him. He then got up and chased Spike.

Chris suddenly froze. "Hey, I just heard something," he said. He sniffed the air, and carefully placed a paw in front of him. And he fell.

"WAAAA!"

He fell down a hole. Spike burst out laughing. Chris crawled out, looking a bit more than slightly embaressed. He tackled Spike, biting and growling with anger. Spike was laughing so much he didnt fight and rolled out of the way, laughing his head off.

Spike choked and gaged with laughter as he ran. That was so funny, he thought to himself, as his giggling fit subsided. Chris had stopped running, and now he too way rolling around with laughter. Spike lept on him in a play fight happily.

Chris rolled to the left and jumped up. He tackled Spike and cried, "This is fun!" Spike then got his muzzel and pulled him to the ground. Choking, he smacked Spike with his paw and pulled himself back up.

Spike fell to the side with the smack, and rolled and got up. Tired, he walked over to the grass, and sat down. Chris joined him, as they watched the sun go down. Spike lundged at Chris, and they rolled joyfully on the hills.

Chris pounced on Spike, then gracefully jumped behind him, and then run back up the hill, while Spike was still clawing at the hill so he would stop rolling down it. Finally, spike did get a hold, only to find Chris was standing proudly at the top of the hill. Angry, Spike raced up, pushed Chris forcedully off and down the hill, and howled to proclaim his ownership of the hill.

Chris rolled down the hill, and at the bottom, he spat out some grass. In a bit of a huff, he walked off back to the beach. Spike soon skidded to him and said, "Killjoy," he hissed. Chris ignored him and contiued to walk down the beach.

Chris kicked Spike in the face with fury, and ran. He heard Spike howl in pain, but really didnt care. Then he turned, to find an enraged Spike coming towards him alarmingly fast. He ran and ran for his life.

Spike was really mad this time. He didnt know what was making him move, but the was right up Chris tail, snorting and biting at him with fury. This time he caught his tail and yanked him to a ahult, were he tackled him.

Chris squealed and lep out of Spikes way as he came crashing down in a fury. Chris rolled and dodged and jinked, but Spike did catch him, by the leg and throwing him to the side. Wimpering, Chris rolled over onto his back to show submission. Spike stuck his nose up into the air and howled.
