“Hey! Sayith! Stop tugging on your leash!” Techy shouted, laughing, as she was being pulled down the street.
Sayith continued to jump around, sticking his nose into everything he could. It was his first time out on a leash for a walk like this since Techy had found him. He couldn’t help it, he was excited. Well, who wouldn’t be excited about going outside after being stuck inside one house (and the backyard) for a few weeks? Anybody (or so he thought) would be exactly like he was right at this very moment. Sure, his leg hurt a bit, but it was doing much better now thanks to his newly adoptive mother. It was still wrapped in gauze, but the glass had cut deep and Techy had to cut it open a bit more to get all of the glass pieces out of his leg. Quite a bit of skin had been torn completely off and still had to grow back, but was otherwise healing very nicely. A few more days and Techy figured that the gauze could be taken completely off. Of course, Sayith couldn’t wait. It itched horribly under there and he just wanted to scratch it so badly… The fur also had to grow back before Sayith was back to normal, whatever normal was. Maybe there wasn’t a normal with him. Techy had yet to find out. And that was something she couldn’t wait for.
Thusly, Techy was still getting towed around and yanked about, no matter her protests. She didn’t really mind, though her shoulders would hurt later, but Sayith wasn’t calm enough, or listened well enough, for her to trust him off of a leash yet. Aside from their backyard. The only thing that worried her was him-
“Oh, no. Say! Look out!”
But it was too late.
