Shanks looked up at Magnus, surprised that his friend was willing to voice his opinion. He was always so timid in medical school, smart and always at the top of the class, but so quiet and willing to work his way around problems instead of confronting them. Shanks was, to be honest, more than a little pleased to see that his smaller friend had toughened up. He cracked a grin, and nodded.
"Yeah, he's a real son of a bitch." he said in reply, frowning again. He mere thought of BB made Shanks want to punch something. When he saw a look of disturbance on Magnus' face as well, and knew the feeling was mutual.
"I don't really know what to think, but I'm hoping that they'll be at the old warehouse we had used as headquarters. BB wasn't really one to move around, he liked staying in one place, as dumb as that may sound. It wasn't as if someone was brave enough to come up to his doorstep and try to gun him down. He was feared by everyone in the more 'dark' areas of Medicai. Hell, police eventually just turned the other way for a little bit of the money; it was just to hard to get him."
Shanks got up and opened up the closet. He pulled out a bag and stuffed a small hand gun, a couple extra switchblades, and a large gray envelope in it. That was all they would need; anything more would just slow them down. Time was of the essence here after all. If he knew BB, he wouldn't just sit around waiting. No, he'd find a way to amuse himself as he waited Shanks' arrival. And his ways of amusing himself weren't pretty.
