"What the heck do you think you are doing crying that around?!" the stronger exclaimed, his eyes wide in shock.
"For your information, it wasn't my fault you ran into my sword. Use the eyes you've got for god's sake!" Kasumi said, trying to keep her voice even. This really wasn't going as planned. Sure, people were supposed to be shocked, but the sword typically stopped the, from getting crabby and confronting her. So clearly, there was something weird about this man. When she looked at him again, however, she noticed the bags under his eyes, and the large brief case in his hand.
Apparently someone had been working all day everyday for quite a while now, and the exhaustion was finally getting to him. Closing her mouth, Kasumi just shook her head and mumbled something before heading on ahead in the crowd. She desperately wished there weren't so many people around though. Just to many accidents were waiting to happen, and not the fun kind; rather, the kind that Elektra could certainly find a way to blame Kasumi for.
Caught up in her thought, Kasumi nearly tripped over a man in front of her who seemed to jump at everything around him, and a woman with a basket on her arm beside him who seemed to cause him even more discomfort. Of course, it was just her luck that her sword was now loose from being jostled around before, and slipped over her head before she could catch it, sliding near the curb of the busy intersection.
