"Yes, but Hannlya's not the one who helped us with Revan or with Zakuul, now, is she?" Lana asked, pressing a light kiss on Xyshari's forehead. "You are. And besides, minus Theron suddenly appearing here, I figured this would be a nice little thing for us to do... by ourselves, you know? Sort of a..."

"Honeymoon?" Xyshari asked, and Lana nodded.

"Exactly," Lana replied.  "I guess Theron caught wind of it, though..."

"Yeah, well, if a whole crew of pirates couldn't take down this beast..." Xyshari started.

"I can almost assure you that they didn't have the Force on their side," Lana said with a wry grin, one that only Xyshari got to see when Lana was in a particular mood. She smiled as she secured the rigging.

"Our one advantage, I guess," Xyshari said. Lana gave a small scoff.

"Love, you are one of the strongest individuals in the Force I've ever met. It's part of what first drew me to you," Lana said.

"You mentioned that a couple of times," Xyshari said, smiling. "Sometimes I don't realize my own strength because we've been so conditioned to not think about our own skill in terms of being proud of it. Being prideful is just one stepping stone on the dark path, after all," Xyshari said, her tone adopting a more pretentious air to it. She was able to hold a straight face for but a moment before she started laughing.

"Well, then, I suppose it's a good thing you're not strictly a Jedi anymore," Lana said, kissing her as she grabbed a hold of one of the rigging ropes.

"You're right. They'd have my hide if they knew we were married," Xyshari said, grabbing another one of the ropes. "See you on deck?"

"Let's see who gets there first," Lana said with a playful tone that still surprised Xyshari whenever she used it. They met gazes for a moment - something that Lana understood was both a rarity and occasionally uncomfortable for Xyshari - before they both leaped from the mast, hands barely still holding to the rope as they fell to the deck.

As both of them landed on the deck - feet beneath them, hands following shortly after to soften the blow, and crouched as though they were both Vorn Tigers preparing to pounce - Theron let out a surprised shout.

"What, are you two TRYING to give me a heart attack, jumping down like that?" he asked, and Lana rose to her feet, smoothing her outfit.

"We were never in any danger, Theron," she chided.

"You two are just--"

"--impossible? You've said several times," Xyshari piped up, giving a sigh of annoyance. "Look, if we'd believed there to be any immediate danger to ourselves, we would have used the ropes to climb down. However, we are very aware of our own skills."

"Yes. Let's not keep this up with idle chatter and instead get underway," Lana said. She motioned to the dock. "However, we won't stop you if you decide you'd rather hop off the boat right here..."

"Don't-- I'll deal with it," Theron said, and Xyshari gave a sharp nod.

"Good. I'd hate to have further... misunderstandings about your intentions, Theron," she said, turning sharply away from him and striding to the bow of the ship. "Just... take us out to the open water, will you?"

Lana cast Theron a withering glance, and quickly strode after Xyshari, who was standing at the bow of the ship and looking out over the waters.

"Aether and Ashla," Xyshari sighed heavily, though her voice was kept in a softer tone. "He forgets that we're just as capable of marooning him out here as we are of allowing him to remain."

"I know, my love," Lana said. "I could just as easily see to it that he falls overboard and gets a little... jolt," she said, a small chuckle following her statement. Xyshari gave a half-hearted chuckle as she turned to face her beloved.

"Be careful, I may ask you to see to it that exactly that happens," Xyshari warned. "I mean... Satele fucked off after she and Marr's ghost helped me forge a new weapon. Even though she said that they had reached an understanding... you could tell that she and Marr were still at odds working together on philosophy like that," she said. "It's not like he'd be really missed by anyone but the Alliance, and even then..."

"Even then, I'm sure we'd miss Senya, or even Arcann, more than him," Lana said. "I agree - he did irreparable damage to us when he pulled his little 'going rogue' stunt. I'm always looking for some double meaning in his words now..."

"You're not alone in that," Xyshari admitted. "I've stopped myself from asking for surveillance drones to be deployed to track his movements simply because I'd have to order them on everyone to be fair..."

"So you're not the only one," Lana admitted grimly. "It is unfortunate that we feel as though we must trust him because of our prior history, and yet we can't because of what he's already done..."

"You're telling me," Xyshari said. "Except I also have an entire order and faction that I feel that way with, and here we are, about to work with them again."

"Except that we don't really need to, you know," Lana said, placing a hand on Xyshari's arm.

"We can just send our people in to do as they will, I know," Xyshari said. "But since Ossus... I have people contacting me from the Republic, kriffing Balkar included, that are always asking for 'favors'," she said. "Doesn't help that Balkar seems intent on flirting with me even though I've sent very clear signals that I'm not available."

"Well, there will always be people like that in the world, I suppose," Lana mused. "Maybe the next time you meet him, I should be there."

"That will either work splendidly or backfire completely," Xyshari said with a chuckle. "There are people, after all, who are apparently... rather intrigued by the idea of two women being in such a relationship."

"Ugh, don't remind me," Lana said. "I've had my own share of... inappropriate comments made since news of our nuptials got 'round. Usually a stern glare and the threat of lightning sparking between my fingers is enough to dissuade them from making further comments."

"Yes, well, I don't have that particular skill," Xyshari said with a chuckle. "The most I can do is twirl my pike around with a threatening glare, or... just a threatening glare. I still firmly hold to..."

"...not using any powers of the Force that could be perceived as of the dark side, I understand," Lana said. "It takes an incredible amount of control to not grip someone's neck with telekinesis simply because you have the capability."

"Precisely," Xyshari said. "...that aside, if I got particularly frustrated with their antics, I could just take them to some lonely, abandoned region and just... unleash a pure wave of Force energy on them, leaving nothing but a trace of organic matter."

"...beg pardon?" Lana asked, taken aback.

"I can channel the Force with such precision that I can create essentially the force of an explosion around me," Xyshari explained. "I first learned this power in the Tattooine deserts, inside of a Krayt dragon skull. Whenever I go out there, I still find splinters from when I first learned this skill."
