There was only so much he could do just playing around on the computer... Matteo liked his work, and even if he wasn't working on his immediate projects, there was always something on the backburner. Nine times out of ten, when he was sitting in front of his laptop, chances are those same familiar programs would be opened up sooner or later.

He sighed. He could argue with Kurt a little more and try to weasel his way out of it but... Maybe he shouldn't bother.

Maybe Kurt had a point with all this. He supposed he could stand to go outside once. It wasn't that he wanted to, but rather that he figured the costs versus the benefits were worth it... If he went outside once, Kurt would count that as a win, and not bother him to do it again for a while.

Of course, that was just because it was Kurt. Kurt was reasonable. He wasn't one of those guys where you gave an inch and they took two.

If you wanted to talk about that kind of aggressive friend, Matteo had several. He still liked them, but he had to be more careful about what kinds of concessions he allowed them. With Kurt, despite whatever disagreements they might have, Matteo could expect him to be contented with what he asked for, or with any compromises they might reach. It made him easy to work with too, and Matteo appreciated it a lot.

"Alright," said Matteo reluctantly. "I guess I can go out this once..."

For a moment nothing happened. It was almost as if Matteo had never spoken. However, the pause was merely Kurt taking this in, and not quite daring to believe what he was hearing.

But then it sank in, and a grin spread slowly across his features, until he wore a wide and unguarded smile. "Yes! We are going to have so much fun, Matty! Let's build a snowman--- wait, no, let's make it two! Or three! Or we can make snow goons, have you ever heard of those?"

A whole flood of words came pouring out rapid-fire from Kurt, while Matteo laughed a little, helplessly. It was hard to begrudge Kurt anything in the face of such obvious enthusiasm. "Look, we can do whatever you want, I just need to finish this email first---"

"NO BUTS!" Kurt declared. Matteo had agreed, but he hadn't expected Kurt to take charge so strongly as soon as he gave the okay. Upon hearing Matteo stall once again, Kurt wouldn't have it, and directly grabbed Matteo's wrist to drag him out of his chair.
