The easiest region to access thanks to the port city of Jawan, Nssylai is possibly the most welcoming for new travelers. There are fewer rain forests, more open space, beautiful winding rivers, and supposedly less dangers. If you do seek adventure though, the Craiss Caverns and Idalani Waterfalls are a sight to behold. For relaxation or to get in touch with your spiritual side, head out to Nu'san Temple.

The smaller of Evelon's two most prominent western continents, Barakka is characterized by its plethora of snaking rivers and the belt of rain forests that divide the northern and southern regions. The more habitable lands tend to be to the north of the forests, with much of the south covered in swamps created by the high amount of rainfall. Most come to Barakka to enjoy the peaceful north, often seeking the beaches or a vacation to see the stunning waterfalls.

Still, there are sadly a large number of people that come for the exotic flora and fauna; illegal poachers make a wealthy living to the south, profiting through a hidden black market. Besides this, Barakka's main legal exports are rubber, fruits, spices, and fish among many other exotic goods.

You can find more information on many notable locations in the northern region of Nssylai here.

Craiss Caverns - Once home to the Crystal Cities of the Hunter clans, Craiss Caverns is now a hollow empty shell of its former glory due to a strange misfortune in the past. Man-made tunnels now lead to this place, but tales tell of some never returning. If you're willing to venture down to the caverns though, many say there are strange runes carved or drawn on the walls. Perhaps if someone were able to decifer these runes they would learn just what happened to the Crystal Cities to cause the Hunters to leave. Of course, it's also always possibly that they're just graffiti mistaken for ancient writings.

Idalani Waterfalls - Also know as the 'Lover's Triangle', the Idalani area is a picture-perfect place to spend time with that special someone, with a beautiful exotic backdrop and countless rainbows dancing across the sky. Idalani is a lush area with a deep gorge roughly in the shape of a triangle. It's this gorge, which three separate waters feed in to, that gave rise to the area's nickname. As the falls clash at the bottom of the gorge they send up a constant mist that engulfs the surrounding cliffs and rain forests. While it's this mist that creates the rainbows that many come to see, getting too close to the falls is quite risky due to the slippery rocks.

Jawan, the Sea City - As a port city, Jawan is widly known for its skillful fishermen that bring in fresh catches daily. It was in this city that Kalamarei were first domesticated. Young Kalamarei have been used to aid fishermen in herding large schools of fish in to their nets, though some fishermen warn of the use of Kalamarei, for their loyalty lasts only as long as their food source. In the early mornings, when the sun has just started to come up, Jawan's famous fish market opens up. Some sell their catch for set prices, though the more unique, larger, or just harder to catch fish are often auctioned off. Many people come to Jawan just to watch these heated auctions.

Nu'san Temple - Nestled between two rivers, the Nu'san Temple is a great place to stop if ever you're looking for a nice, quiet retreat. While the devout monks in charge of taking care of the temple welcome all travlers and are unable to turn those in need away, anyone disrupting the peace will be asked to leave. For many that visit the temple it is seen as a place to achieve spiritual enlightenment, aided by the distant sounds of the rain forest. Others see it as a place to just simply rest for the night, typically on their way in to or out of the jungle. While rare, some visitors choose to take on a new life at the temple, enticed by its serenity.
