"Of course, I'm aware of that", Zeo quickly assured the Polly. "My son is just too small to be left alone, yet - though more for the safety of everyone else than his own." Lelouch, in all his curiousity and innocence, seemed to have the special ability to get everyone else but himself into trouble.

"Daddy, there's no bunny here!" Lelouch had by now investigated the whole room already and had obviously not found what he had been searching for. "Let's mooooove!"

"Alright, Champ." Zeo caught up with his son. "Then let's go." He was glad that Lelouch was enjoying himself, though he wondered how much havoc the boy could cause when he started searching rooms in earnest.

Firetra:

Sadly, Zan's search did not reveal anything. The Fellox emerging from the cage seemed to silence a lot of the animals, and the room went rather quiet. Even the giant tube complex full of rats didn't stir, and they weren't easily quieted like those timid little mice were.

Speaking of rats, a Common Rattegan scurried up to Zan. "Still looking in here, eh, mate? Don't worry. Your chances are still pretty good in here. But not as good as they have been. Maybe you should try somewhere else for a while? Or maybe not. What do I know? S'just a Rattegan.

"Oh!" Lelouch looked around. There were so many toys in the new room! However, there were also strange things he had never seen before and despite the cheery room, they scared the boy. "Daddy! Is that technology?"

"Indeed." Zeo hurried past his son. "Champ, I know there are lots of toys in here and that there might be a bunny here, but let's not stay here. Technology is evil."

"Okay, Daddy." Lelouch pouted a bit because the chances of finding a bunny here seemed really good, but he knew the rules and even if they were in Evelon and not at home, they still had to obey the rules. Quickly, Lelouch hurried to catch up with his father and tried not to secretly look for bunnies.

Chiya smiled with delight. She entered the workshop and looked around, her eyes wide with excitement. She really did love the holiday season. She looked around at the large Christmas tree that stood in the middle, decorated with lights and other things of the sort. It made her heart flutter with happiness. She was just so excited and happy! She looked around, thinking over the rules in her head. Why not search this room? There was a giant Christmas Tree! And that meant Presents!

The decision was made. She would Search Room #1. She really did hope she would find something! Oh how she was excited and fluttering about with the excitement!

"Oh! Oh, what's this?" Lelouch looked around in the bakery. "It's food, I think! Right, Daddy?"

"Yes, yes it is." Happy that there seemed to be no technology here, Zeo admired the cheery-looking room as well. "Too bad we're Felloxes and don't eat food like this, huh? It looks tasty...and pretty unhealthy."

"I miss being at home and being a human boy because I can't eat ice-cream like this", Lelouch agreed. "But this looks good as well! It's mean that I can't eat it! But there are no carrots here, so I don't think any bunnies are here, either. Not even stuffed ones, because even if they're not real, their fur would get sticky from all the sugar. Let's check somewhere else, Daddy!" Happy, Lelouch moved on. He was sure to find his bunnies soon!

auntslappy:

Beneath the tree, one of the present boxes wobbled. The wrapping paper around it wrinkled, and the ribbons criss-crossing it jittered. An immense, green blade rocketed up from the depths of the box. Fragments of cardboard flew everywhere.

The Beetanke came up gasping for air. It struggled its way out of the box, and pulled itself towards Chiya. "Finally! You have no idea how long I've been waiting in there! NO ONE has been searching this room. No one at all! It paused for a brief moment. "...Oh my gosh, I've been so lonely. Do you know what it's like being so common? Nobody wants you! You just get thrown away!" It head dipped to its strong chest. "I... I don't want to be alone anymore! Can I... can I please come with you? Please?"

Its eyes glimmered with desperation.

"It's a bedroom!" Lelouch looked around in the giant room full of little beds. "But the beds are so small! Smaller than mine!"

"I don't believe they are for bunnies, though. They probably belong to the people who work here", Zeo commented.

"Oh." Lelouch thought about this for a moment, then he quickly walked to the next door. "Hurry, Daddy, we need to move on and find the bunnies! But not here!"

"Why not?" The room seemed perfectly fine for searching. Well, besides the fact that it was a bedroom of someone they didn't know, but if the game rules said it was okay, things were probably fine.

"Daddy! I'm not staying in a place where someone is possibly smaller and cuter than me! No one will want to cuddle me anymore if there's someone cuter! Hurry up!" Lelouch impatiently waited for his father, who chuckled and hurried up.

Chiya jumped backwards as the Beetanke jumped out of the box. She flapped her wings to try and keep balance, and managed it, but just barely. She smiled though, and nodded to the creature. "Why yes, you can come with me! I'm sure I have something to do with you back home at my shop... It might be nice to have someone around helping. What do you say?" She said with a smile. As the Beetanke nodded vigorously, she nodded and then smiled, looking around the room. She looked at the map. The Post Office was next.

Flapping her wings slightly, and regaining her composure, Chiya entered the Post Office, or room #4. She smiled to herself and looked at all the wonderful little tables where the Elves worked.

"Oh! Awesome! It looks like my room, just bigger! I bet there is a bunny here somewhere!" Lelouch immediately began to look around in the huge bedroom they had entered, peeking under the bed at once.

"I dunno, Champ..." While the room with all the little beds had seemed somewhat more public, simply because it had obviously so many inhabitants, this one seemed to be really private. Sure, the door hadn't been locked, but was it really okay to look around in here? It reminded Zeo of his own room back home, given how big it was, so he guessed it belonged to the boss of this all. And Zeo knew that at least he himself would hate it if someone would nose around in his apartments, given all the important and secret information he was storing there. "Maybe this room isn't for searching?"

"I'm sure it is!" Lelouch had, by now, almost completely crawled under the bed. "I can't see anything!" He tried to feel around with his paws. "Buuuuuunnies!? Where aaaaare yooooou?"

Shieba:

"Bunnies? No, I'm afraid you're mistaken, little one. There's no bunnies here. Only me."

A paw reached out from the darkness to tap the child's nose, and a pair of bright eyes flashed open. Lavender, they sparkled in the darkness. It pawed out from beneath the bed, and beckoned the boy to follow it. To be fair, it was not entirely unlike a rabbit--one of the first things to come into the light was a pair of big, floppy ears that clapped and fluttered as it shook its head.

"Not everyone could have found something under that bed," it said, and laughed. "What an obvious hiding place! But for a heart as innocent and pure as a child's, who would expect nothing else... well. Santa can make a few exceptions, can't he?"

The Dalma bowed before Lelouch as if kneeling before its prince. "I'm sorry if I've disappointed you by not being a bunny, but I would still like very much to go home with you. I've been hoping for a home with a child like you for a long time. Would you please do me the honors?"

"Oh wow, a dog!" Lelouch hurried out from under the bed as well to get a better look at who he had found there. "Awesome!"

Zeo was, to put it bluntly, pretty shocked. He guessed he should have read the announcement of this event better and not just go along with what Lelouch had said. He knew his son had come here to find a bunny - a toy bunny - and now they had gotten a real dog? Had he been tricked by his little one? But Lelouch seemed just as surprised, actually, and the boy was a bad reader still, so he probably hadn't read the whole thing, either. "Uhm, hello there..." Zeo slowly came closer when Lelouch was out from under the bed.

Lelouch was totally thrilled. "Of course you can come home with me! It'll be all awesome! We can cuddle a lot! Oh wow, this is exciting!"

Zeo wasn't too sure what Haephnes would say if guests of hers brought even more creatures with them to the Chateau, but really, the golden Fellox seemed to love everyone anyway, so he guessed it wouldn't be much of a problem. And really, the Dalma seemed to have rather good manners and maybe Lelouch could learn something from him. "Don't worry about not being a bunny", the king said to the dog. "We have around fifty at home already. Lelouch here came looking for a stuffed one, really."

"And I found a real dog!" Lelouch was still beaming with excitement. "This is soooo neat! We'll be best friends! I'll introduce you to everyone!" He snuggled up to the Dalma. "I'll give you lots of huggies! And treats! And we can take care of the bunnies together and play in the forest and with the other children! It'll be fun!" He then looked around. "Maybe there are more things here? Like stuff for dogs?" He also didn't really want to give up hope to find a bunny yet, even though his new friend had said there weren't any. But then again, the Dalma had talked about real bunnies and Lelouch just wanted a friend for Mr. Fluffy. "Let's look around some mooooore!" Excited by finding something - or rather, someone - so quickly, Lelouch now climbed onto the bed, looking if something was hidden behind the pillows.

"Champ, come down! Your paws are all dirty from running around in the snow!" Zeo quickly made his way over to the bed, but really, his son had already made a mess out of the before neatly made bed. "You are rude!"

"Noooo! I'm not rude! I'm just playing the game!" Happily, Lelouch continued to push the pillows left and right.

Shieba:

Just as Lelouch began to make a mess of the bed, the covers suddenly jerked back from him with a snapping sound. The cover drifted down in a haze of sparkles, to rest gently on top of the bed. A loud "tch"ing sound filled the room, as if by loudspeaker, and a deep, loving voice filled the air.

"Ah-ah-ah! It's very, very naughty to make a mess of things," the man said. "And do you know what else is naughty, hmm? Trying to take more than your fair share." The voice winked at them from afar, but there was a stern note beneath it. "You may keep searching my room, but I think you will find it increasingly difficult to find anything in this room if you're already found one of my special presents. The special gifts in this room are for all the boys and girls, which means that your chances will decrease by FIFTY PERCENT every time you find something."

The Santa-esque voice--Santa himself? A clever imposter?--cleared his voice over the hidden loudspeaker. "Which means that, sorry, you didn't find anything. You do still have a chance, but it is decreased." A scratchy sound hissed in the air, as if Santa was scratching his beared.

"Oh... one more thing. Not all rooms follow this rule, but this isn't the only room that does. Sadly, I haven't gotten to scare anyone because no one's found a present in the other room yet." His deep chuckle shook the walls. "Tsk... all this time sorting out naughty children is making me rather naughty myself!"

((Oh don't kick me out! I'm a good girl! ;3; -shot-))

The room she entered was large. It was full of mail. She really did admire the mail people. They were so strong willed and ready to take any job they needed to! She smiled as she looked around the room. Her chances in the first room were pretty great, so she might as well try and match that luck and search again. She examined the desks and looked around. There had to be something in here somewhere. She didn't want to seem like a creep either, but people were around everywhere searching, weren't they? She nodded and Searched Room #4.

((OK, first, a note: Everyone but Auntslappy is now out. Sorry, but you have to keep up with the postings!))

auntslappy:

Sadly, her search did not turn up anything. The room was just so full of mail! The room smelled of paper, ink, and that strange stamp glue that tingles on the tongue after you lick one.

There was one thing she managed to find, though--a wall full of letters that the Elves had pulled out, set aside, and tacked up. You wouldn't think working in a mail room would be a gratifying job, but here they put up letters from children who had gone the extra mile, or had written to Santa asking for special, unselfish things. Children who, for example, asked Santa to find their parents jobs, or for their grandparents to get better, or for the countries they lived in to stop fighting with other countries. One child wrote to Santa saying that she just wanted to thank him for doing such a good job and making everyone happy, and thanked him for bringing her best friend Beth a bike last year. Sure, it wasn't a pet, but it was cute.

Chiya looked over the letters with a large smile on her face. The letters were cute, and seeing people being so grateful made her smile. She looked around a bit before deciding to move to the next area she was going to search. She looked around before Moving to Room #7. She was surprised by the birds and everything else that sqwaked and squeaked. She smiled, looking around and each and every single one of them. Everything was here, and the puppies made her smile the most.
