When the alien woman sat down, Gloria automatically moved to the edge, as far from her as possible. "I have a right to be upset with you," she said simply. "You would be upset too, if I had tried to kill you." Looking over at Kzeleck for a moment, Gloria tried not to grin. Her lips twitched slightly, but otherwise her expression remained neutral. "Your ex and I are just friends," she said. "We're partners. But we definitely aren't romantically tethered." That, at least, was true. They had engaged in sexual activity together, but both of them knew that there was practically no romance between them. "And as for your apology...I accept it. But I still don't want you around, because I can't just trust you after you did something like that."
