Haizea would keep up her pace for a good while, until it became clear that something odd was still going on. She had left the snow and stuff behind her, but this fog still hadn’t gone away. Instead, it looked more like it was getting worse. And pretty soon, she ended up stumbling upon even more snow!

”What the?!” She exclaimed as she skidded to a complete stop.

How could there be snow over here too? She just came from here, and there had been no traces of the white powdery stuff before!

How could this be happening? There was no way she was completely lost!

But lo and behold, as she started turning her head about to look around, there was snow everywhere she could see. And as she squinted hard into the fog, the shadow of some sort of gate was now present. That also was definitely not supposed to be there.

Getting closer to it, she quickly spotted a sign near it, but when she examined it for any writing, there was nothing. It was just a blank board hanging there uselessly.

She would blankly stare at this board for a solid moment, as she tried to process at how, as a sign, it was incredibly unhelpful. Eventually her growing irritation would rise up in her throat, and she would bellow out a frustrated curse into the void. She would then turn to lash out at a random pile of snow with a swipe of her mighty claws. She refused to believe that she had gotten herself lost!

There must be some sort of mischief at hand here, and someone was toying with her. How else could she get magically transported to a completely new place?

”Show yourself, you pathetic coward!”

Her voice would ring out loud and clear for anyone to hear her for sure, as despite the snow and whatnot, it had to have traveled fairly well regardless.

She would stand by and wait for any activity to occur. Generally she would prefer that whoever was involved in this would come out and fess up real quick, as she would only allow the supposed individual only so much of her patience and time.

But there would be no response to her demand. Everything would remain both silent, and completely still. It looks like whoever did this, wasn’t going to give themselves up that easily.

She stomped her foot in frustration.

In the not too far off distance, the king would be quietly making his way through the field of snow towards the forest he had sniffed out earlier. By being pretty much in his element here, he was making very good progress in getting where he wanted to go.

He would take momentary pause when he heard something really loud back where he had come from. Looking over in habit, he still couldn't actually see what in Sornieth was going on, but the distant words that managed to echo out towards him gave him a pretty fair guess.

Someone else was here after all.
