Orion was quite pleased with himself for finding this place. It was beautiful, comfortable, and affordable to rent for a few weeks. Oh he just couldn't wait until Xanatos arrived! Where was his partner anyway? He had given him the coordinates for both the planet and the cottage so he should be here already. He couldn't have gotten lost, could he?

He sighed as he looked out at the feast later before him and wondered if he should go out to look for his partner. Xanatos had a habit of only half listening to him so it was likely the man had not heard him. Orion began to slip on his coat and gloves when he heard a knock at the door followed by someone crashing about and heading straight for the dining hall. He couldn't help but feel his stomach lurch as waves of regret and fear hit him.

Xanatos burst into the dining area with wet boots and in rather rumpled looking clothing his eyes scanning the room for settling on Orion. He quite frankly looked like a mad man and Orion was already sighing and shaking his head by the time Xanatos approached him.

"What have you gotten yourself into now, Xanatos?"

Xanatos gripped Orion's upper arms and looked directly into his eyes.

"I'm so sorry, love. I'm so so sorry."

"Xanatos, for the love of the Force, what did you do?"

Feemor crept into the room silently as he watched Xan be as dramatic as ever.

"I...I cheated on you, Ori. I'm so sorry. I swear, you're the only one for me. I swear! I made a mistake and I'm so sorry."

Orion stares at Xanatos in silence, not seeming to really comprehend what the man had just said. Cheated? On him? No no no. This was some kind of trick right? So kind of stupid paranoid test of Xan's again. The man was prone to stupid irrational things like this all the time. PTSD and bipolar tended to do this to one.

"Xan, you know I love you, so there's no need for testing me. Your paranoia is just speaking so let's get you out of those wet clothes and get some food in you, love."

"This isn't a test, Orion. I really did cheat on you."

Orion stopped and stared at Xanatos again not wanting to believe him. Xan may be an impulsive asshole at times but cheating on him? He wouldn't...would he?

"Oh Force...you're serious."

[Kylo]

"I'm sorry, Orion. I didn't mean to. He kissed me and I just...I'm so sorry, baby. Please forgive me."

"Who?"

"What?"

"Who kissed you?"

Feemor cleared his throat and Orion's head wiped around to look at the Jedi.

"I'm sorry, sir. I had no idea he was called for. He didn't tell me he was in a relationship."

Orion turned back to glare at Xanatos.

"A Jedi!? You kriffed a Jedi!? Of all the people in the galaxy you chose a Jedi!?"

"Orion, please I can explain!"

Orion scowled at Xanatos before pushing his hands off of him.

"You better start now before I leave you."

[Kylo]

"I knew him before when I was a Jedi. He was Jinn's apprentice before me. He...was always nice to me. Like an older brother. He understood me and how hard it was to be under Jinn. I...I fell in love with him back then. I never told anyone or did anything. I was terrified Jinn would find out and report me to the council. And after Telos I never thought I'd see him again. I got together with you and gave up on ever being with Feemor."

Xanatos gazed sadly at Orion as the man continued to fare daggers at him.

"So she he kissed me everything I felt came rushing back and I gave in to it. I'm so sorry, Orion. I truly am."

Orion reached out to grab Xanatos's hand and yanked him close to himself. Xan stumbled but caught himself before he fell.

"Just tell me one thing."

"What?" He breathed.

" Do you still love him?"

Xanatos cast his eyes down for a moment before returning Orion's gaze.

"Yes, but I still love you too."

Orion's gazed seemed to soften before he dropped Xanatos's hand and looked away. Xan felt his heart shatter and before he could reach out to touch Orion, he looked back at Xan again.

"I'm not going to leave you and I'm not going to force you choose, but you've hurt me and I'm not sure I can trust you anymore Xanatos. I trusted you to be loyal to me, just as you trust me to be loyal to you. I'd be angry with you if I wasn't so hurt."

[Kylo]

Feemor sifted awkwardly not really sure what to say. Orion turned to look him harshly before approaching him.

"You can leave, Jedi. This isn't any of your business anymore."

"I'm afraid I can't as I was sent to retrieve Xanatos."

Orion snarled and got in Feemor's face. His eyes shone dangerously and turned a sickly yellow color.

"I said leave, Jedi. You won't be taking him anywhere."

Feemor blinked calmly before taking a step back into a defensive position.

"You failed to mention your partner is a Sith, Xan," he said as he withdrew his lightsaber.

"Leave him out of this! And go, while I'm still in an amicable mood," Orion threatened lowly.

" You know I can't do that Sith." His lightsaber roared to life.

[Kylo]

"Former Sith. I gave up that life. I don't want a fight, Jedi. I want to have a private dinner with my partner. Now leave!"

"Feemor, please. Just, just for an hour or two. I've hurt him enough today. I can't let you hurt him more." Xanatos stepped between the two feuding men laying a hand on each one's chest.

"I'm sorry, Xan, but it is my sworn duty to bring him in."

Xanatos frowned and gently pushed at Feemor towards the door.

"You heard him. He doesn't want a fight. Just to have dinner with me. He isn't even a Sith now. He never really was. So please just..just go wait in the next room. Let him have his privacy with me."

Feemor looked between Xanatos and Orion, whose eyes had returned to their normal shade of amber.

"Fine. But I'm not letting either of you leave."

"Of course," Xanatos said as he began to steer Orion over to a chair at the table who continued to glare at Feemor.

Feemor, true to his word, went into the next room over to wait while Orion and Xanatos had their meal.

Orion's aura in the force seemed cold and distant, making Xanatos suppress a shiver. He had never karked up this badly before with Orion and he wasn't sure he could come back from this one. Just what was he thinking earlier? Was he thinking at all? He had a feeling it was more like the second one.

Xanatos silently ate the meal in front of him while Orion sat across from him. Orion refused to look up from his plate, picking quietly at his food but eating very little. The silence hung heavy in the air and it made Xan uneasy.

[Kylo]

"Xan..." Orion spoke softly over his plate.

Xanatos looked up not expecting Orion to break the silence.

"Yes, Ori?"

Orion looked up at Xanatos and he looked nervous, almost...afraid. Xanatos couldn't help but reach across the table to Orion's hand. Orion allowed him to take his hand, but made no motion to return it.

"Am...am I not giving you what you need? I know I don't sleep with you often and...with this, I just...," Orion blinked hard a few times, trying to fight back tears.

"Ori...that's not why I slept with Feemor. I promise. I know you struggle with that and I knew that when I entered a relationship with you. I promise what happened isn't because of you. I'm the one who messed up. Me. Not you."

[Kylo]

Xanatos gently squeezed Orion's hand and got up to walk around the table to Orion. He leaned down to wrap him in a hug and Orion tried not to stiffen in response.

"I really do love you, Orion. I know it's hard to believe after what I did, but I do. I swear what happened was because of me."

Orion stewed in silence for a moment before slumping back into Xanatos and giving in to the urge to cry.

"I just wish you would have asked me, Xan. Whether you meant it or not I feel worthless. I feel like I'm not enough for you."

[Kylo]

"I think I need to be alone for a while, Xan. I'm not leaving you I just...need some time to myself. I need time to sort out my feelings and figure out where to go from here."

Xanatos leaned his head on top of Orion's gently and held him tighter.

"If you think that's for the best then I'll give you space."

He let go and moved back. Orion got up from his seat and left to go find their room, leaving Xanatos alone.

Feemor peeked in from the next room and Xanatos motioned towards upstairs.

"He's going to bed. Please leave him alone."
