"Trike...?" The canine would utter in confusion, tilting her head to one side before looking around some more. Were they not doing any training like they planned earlier? Better yet, where were they exactly? This didn't look like any place she remembered, and why was it colder here? That didn't seem right...

Amidst her distraction, Millie took a step forward. "Tondra!" Her trainer had called, to get her full attention. To which Tondra responded with turning around to face her, letting out a soft growl in acknowledgement and filled with a questioning tone. From that, Millie went on with what she intended to say. "We have a bit of a situation here, clearly." She stated what was more than obvious, before continuing. "And somebody is definitely responsible for it! We're gonna go find them, and I need your help in doing that, okay?"

The plan, if it could even be called one, was a rather simple one. The duo had been together just long enough for Millie to understand that the Electrike had a certain obsession with smells. Anything and everything that was new for her powerful little nose, would be a piece of cake to discover and possibly follow. All Tondra needed to do was find the correct one that seemed suspicious enough, and lead them straight to the culprit!

She had lots of confidence that this would work.

Tondra would not be as sure about that. Who was she supposed to find? Without a scent to follow, it would be impossible! Sure, the challenge more than did enough to pique her interest in catching a bad guy, but would she be able to really pull this off? Well, nothing was gonna stop Millie from finding out, as the next thing the canine knew, her trainer took off ahead of her. "Come on! Let's get them!"

She would be going just slow enough for Tondra to easily catch up, even in all this snow. But it would not be long before she started picking up the pace even more, as after crossing that threshold with the gate, she was feeling really cold now... "Aaaaagh! Why did it have to even be snow!?" Millie probably would have minded it much less if this teleporter person had chosen a much warmer area for her to get lost at, but instead they had to put up with this on top of everything else! She didn't have a coat, or even the correct shoes for this! If the snow were to get any deeper, where it could start falling into her shoes, she was going to be in trouble!

Tondra would be trotting along to follow her trainer, passing through the powdery white obstacle in her path with mild difficulty. Her legs were short enough that the layer of snow could easily reach up to her chest, which made for quite the chilling experience as the stuff started clumping up and sticking to every single strange of fur that it could get a hold of.

It was a little much, considering she had gotten pretty used to the warmer weather they'd been having for a little while now, but her spirits wouldn't be dampened by a bunch of snow! Not when there was so much new stuff for her to take in right about now. The sights were a little plain, as not much was going on around them now that they were inside the perimeter, but it would still become a rather fascinating time for the pup regardless of how empty the land was for the most part. This place was totally new, and completely unfamiliar to her.

As soon as they reached about the quarter of the way of the field leading up to the house, the duo needed to take a quick pause to assess and then decide on which way they needed to go. "Okay, do you at all smell anything around here?" Millie would ask, looking over at Tondra.

When the green pup heard the question, she did tilt her head again before letting out a quick bark. She would do her best! Even if it meant getting her nose all cold, Tondra would do everything that she could to figure out who and where this individual was.

Leaning down to press her nose up against the snow, she started taking in several big whiffs to work out any scents that were present.

Her nostrils tingled as her mind became flooded with quite a lot of information, mostly jumbled, that she needed to sort through. A fair amount of it seemed pretty stale and old, so those could quickly be tossed out as not worth looking into.

Starting to narrow some of it down, she started slowly waddling about in a circle around Millie, working to pinpoint the few that seemed the most promising.

They were pretty odd, and she couldn't say why exactly they seemed strange to her. The most notable were two, as one had a very heavy note to it, that was also difficult to breathe in for too long, while the other had a crisp cleanliness to it. Could one of these have something to do with their predicament?

After deliberating, Tondra came to a stop to lift up her head, using a bark as a signal. "Have you got something?!" Millie burst out, a new eager gleam in her eye now. Finally! Now she wouldn't have to force herself to stand around in the cold doing nothing! The Electrike would nod in affirmation, turning to point her snout over towards the side of the property that was filled with several trees.

They... were somewhere in that? There would be another involuntary shudder from Millie, as she thought about how much time she was going to spend without a proper jacket of any sort. Great...

"Well... Alright then, let's give it a shot!" Really having any sort of lead was much better than nothing at all, so she was willing to try and see what they'd find. The sooner they took care of this mess, the sooner they'd be able to return back where they belonged.
