"My name is Langlin...I don't want any trouble. I just want to go home. I'm out of my element! There are too many unfamiliar smells here! So many weird sounds! I'm bleeding! I want to go home!" His voice, which had started out soft and unsure at first, slowly rose into a panic. He slumped to the ground, tails curled tightly around his legs, their flames almost dying out. Why? Why did it have to be him?

"It hurts so much..." he muttered. He was feeling faint. Was he about to pass out?

The khimera's eyes pealed wide open as she saw the pirate unsheathe his sword. Making the pirate mad wasn't her best idea, she had to figure something else out. Iolana looked around the room as best she could, it didn't help that she was laying flat on her right side. If only I could find something in here to help me. The khimera's only option was thrashing about, snapping her jaws as Spitz came near. Iolana wasn't going to make the hydrolisk job any easier. Growling deep in her throat, she watch as Spitz grab a potato sack. She knew what he was planing, tying her tails up would be the safest for everyone. As the pirate came near her, the wooden door behind them opened. Great, that's what I need more pirates. Iolana tried her best to see who entered the room, she had a hard time. As Spitz fell on top of her, Iolana started to thrash. She did want that ugly thing on top of her. Hearing their voices, she knew right than that they were kidnapped just like her. "Hey, can you help me?" Iolana was relieved as the velix cut her rope. "Thank you for you help." Thanking the small white robot. Iolana pushed Spitz off of her, the khimera got up and ran towards the ladder. Climbing up the ladder, she lifted the heavy wooden trap door. Pushing through the door, her large purple paws landed on the wooden floor. She looked around the open area, the salty air stung her nose. I guess this is what the pirates call the deck.

(( Your response kinda confused me XD Hope my response isn't wrong XD ))

Creet's fluffy white curly head burst out from the opened barrel. He stretched his arms out, being locked up in that barrel wasn't the most comfortable place. He looked at the chief named Meeky and smiled warmly.
"Thanks a bunch, man." He said, cracking his back.
Creet looked around, he seemed to be in some sort of storage room, but a storage room for what?
"Meeky, my good sir. Where are we?" He asked, leaning an elbow against one side of the open lip.

Fine? Just fine you’ll help? The voice scoffed, “Well you could actually try and help,” the voice said, “I cannot walk around at all. Again, sorta’ in a cage.” The voice sounded completely annoyed as this point. There was a silence followed by the sound of something on the soft side hitting something that was not as wielding.
“Omph! Gotta’... Get... Out...!”

-----

Oh great! His saviour was broken. Perfect. The ash palmie sighed, shaking his head. Well, beggar can’t be choosers, right?
“Alright I’ll wait here...” The palmie muttered, sticking his foot in the door to keep it open while Brian played hero. He only needed the velix to play hero for himself/herself, not everyone else on the boat! And of course to help the other palmie... wait, what?

Yes, when Brian returned there was yet another palmie.
“Thanks for saving us, Mister!” The palmie said with a happy squeal, both following after the velix. Of course being without arms and being on the small size the palmies had difficulty getting out. The ash seemed to be protecting the smaller common, making sure the smaller one was firmly on the next step up before following. But they were rushing too and sooner rather then later the ash palmie lost its footing, only two rungs from getting out.

It’s mouth was open in a comical “o” shape as it fell and it would have been funny if there wasn’t a thrashing, angry khimera and hydrolisk with a sword down there.
The common palmie had made it to the deck and had started to cry.
“Are you... okay?” the smaller, brighter palmie asked, calling down.
“I’m... okay... Go on ahead! I’ll get out, no worries!” The ash said, already scooting away from the fight going on infront of it.

------

The voice in the back of this dark room grew angry. Ugh! These prisoners were absolutely useless!
“Stop your gripping and help me out of here! I’m use to the beach and trees and sun and I’m surrounded by metal and dark, how do you think Ifeel?! Get over here and help me out!”

“Excuse me, sir?” there was a palmie there, quite suddenly. She appeared like a ghost, “Please do not shout... Infact, all of you should pipe down. The beentanke is not around... but he could be brought down here to silence us and I suspect none of us would like that...”  That said the palmie, who didn’t seem to be chained, kicked a small, think piece of metal towards the scientist, the light of the flames on his tails playing eerily across the palmies face. The eyes were almost whitethey were so light and she was squinting a little. To bright to her sensitive eyes? Perhaps she had been in the dark too long?

The other voice, from the back of the ship huffed, "Get away! They're helping ME, not YOU!"
"If you asked nice, I would help you too. All you do is get mad..." this palmie seemed much more softly spoken then whoever was in the back of the ship, "When you get mad you get violent..."

-----

There was a lot going on down here and Spitz turned to hissing and, haha, spitting as he tried to regain the upper hand in this situation. But Lolana easily over powered the gangly hydrolisk. He hit one wall when her paw came up and hit him in the chest and he went flying.

The palmies on the ladder, along with the velix were already up on the deck. All but the ash who was left abandoned in the room just below them. It didn’t cry for help or assistance, it only restarted it’s climb. The smaller, more brightly coloured palmie wasn’t going to pass up this opportunity to get the ash palmie some help.
“Hey! Khimera-lady! Can you please help him?” the smaller palmie pled, going up to the large cat seemingly without fear. In a normal circumstance she would have been scared, but being captured by pirates was far from normal.

(( Tried not to give them genders. X___X; I triiied. ))

-----

(( Sorry. D8> He’s in a barrel so I’m trying to keep it vague since he’s in the dark. :c FAIL... on my part, obviously. P=; ))

“S-storage...” Meeky squeaked. When the strange furry thing with all the bags didn’t gut him he cook offered his hand. He was a small thing, maybe five foot, including the curly black afro-type hair that grew tightly against the top of his head. His eyes darted all around Creet, irises of red and yellow moving so fast they seemed to be almost orange. But no, the pupils were black with a ring of yellow or gold which then turned into a striking blood red. For a kid with such scary eyes he wasn’t very intimidating.

“Well, I mean, you’re in the storage on the ship The Amethyst Shadow. I-It’s a pi-pirate ship. I-is that yours?” Meeky asked as the generic pink watch, which had apparently been in the barrel with Creet, fell out as the strange character pulled himself from the barrel.

Meeky stooped down, picked it up and offered it to Creet, “I don’t think I... I cau-caught your name?”

Iolana looked at the palmie for moment. "What?" The Khimera couldn't remember anyone else in the room, all she was worry about was getting away from Spitz. As Iolana thought about it some more, she realize that there was a palmie. Did she want to risk being caught again by Spitz to save a palmie? Dang it! She made up her mind to save the small creature. Turning around she opened the heavy trap door, wide enough for it to stay open. Looking down in the small pit, she could see the small creature trying to climb up the metal ladder. Taking a deep breath, she jumped into the room, jarring her hole body as she landed on the wood floor. Hissing from the shock, Iolana turned towards the palmie. "It will be quicker if you jump on my back." As the gray palmie jumped on the khimera's back, she climb up the ladder and onto the deck. Iolana colsed the wooden trap door, making sure that the pirate would have some trouble opening the door. "Do you know how to get off the ship" Hoping that the plamie knew that answer.

(( It's okay XD ))

It was quite amusing, Creet didn't understand why this Meeky was so scared. But he just shrugged and felt it was better not to judge.
"The Amethyst Shadow?...Hm..." Creet repeated, tapping his chin lightly.
When the short cook offered his hand, Creet took it with a wide grin. Once outside of the uncomfortable barrel, he fixed his large bag and made sure everything was where it should be. When Meeky mentioned there was something in the barrel, he leaned in to look.
"Hm..no, not mine. Everything seems to be in order." He replied, looking through his stuff again.
Creet then shot up, his expression showing a bit regret.
"I didn't mention me name? Hm..that's not right." He held out his hand to Meeky. "Creet, just call me Creet."

"I don't like it when people yell..." muttered Langlin softly. "So...you're not helping me calm down in the first place..." He slowly reached out for the piece of metal, his tails moving behind him, so that they backlit him.

"Is that better?" he asked, trying to stand. "I think I could handle that guard..." His voice was wavery, obviously unsure. But he wanted to get out, back to the comfortable place he called home. He was ready to try anything...

Even kill.

"Look...  Langlin.  You're the only one of us that can move around freely at this point.   So please don't get yourself locked up until we're free.  Taking on that guard alone is a risky move, but all three of us can easily overpower before he can get any word out.  What do you say?"  And yet, the more she thought about it, the more skeptical she became of it.  It didn't sound like the other prisoner was in very good shape, and she sure as heck wasn't.  Even if this Langlin man was able to free them, how would they be able to fight.  Sighing, she slumped down, waiting for the others to comment.

Bryan looked down after the fallen Palmie.  He was considering going back to save it, but he shouldn't risk leaving the smaller one up here.  Plus, it seemed as if the Khimera he had freed was helping it out some.  Good.  He clicked a few times, still unable to talk, and turned his head to the small common Palmie, motioning for it to follow him.  While they walked, he continuously looked back to make sure the little fella hadn't gotten  lost in the fog.

It was hard to see, but Bryan was able to feel his way along the deck until he found a door.  He looked up at the door handle.  He was too short to reach it, plus it looked like it was locked.  Bryan looked around but couldn't see much on deck.  This weather was crazy.  He looked at the Palmie helplessly and shrugged, then back at the handle again.  Better find a solution, since who knows who else may be stumbling around on deck.

Still on the Deck, failing to get into R11.  XD

-----

The ash palmie moved quickly... for a palmie which isn’t exactly fast. He climbed onto the large cats back and held on for dear life as she scaled the ladder and shut the trap door behind to, cutting off the angry hiss from Spitz who was down below trying hard to keep up with all that was going on.

The deck was a deep, blue-grey. This probably wasn’t the decks actual colour but the fog that shrouded it made it impossible to know the true colour of anything. Below Lolana there was a thump and the sound of claws digging into wood as the hydrolisk below here tried to claw his way out.
“Off?” The palmie asked, “Just jump over the side! I need to find my sister, first though!” and with that the ash palmie jumped off her back, stumbling blindly into the fog. Even his dark grey body would disappear into that fog.

-----

Meeky pocketed the watch, striking red-yellow eyes looking around while his fingers moved and wiggled nervously. The drummed against the side of his legs. The cook seemed so distracted he at first didn’t notice Creet’s hand or the introduction until his eyes finally strayed from the stair case above them and back to Creet.
“Huh? Uh... OH! Ah, nice to meet you...” He rolled his eyes as he tried to remember a name he wasn’t even sure he was given, “Creet? Right well uh.... I’m not sure wh-what to do now I-!!!” He jumped as light suddenly filtered down from somewhere above, followed by the sound of a door being banged open.
“Meeky~” The sound of many bugs skittering along the floor with a hint of nails on a chalk board dripped down from above them, making the cook squeak. His skin rose into goosebumps which then promptly turned to scales as the cook transformed.

Before Creet cowered a small, miserably terrified kami who skittered unhappily under the stairs, his eyes bugging out of his head.
Hide, the miserable excuse for a pirate mouthed the word to Creet before slinking out from his hiding spot.
“Sh-sh-sh-shan.... Shanks! He-hey! Neh-need something?”
“I heard... a voice. Are you... Sympathizing with the prisoners? You are rather pathetic and you do love these palmie things. I’ve seen a few... freely running about the ship. Does that have anything to do with you?” the voice sounded more amused than mad.

“Wha?! No, no Shanks no. Never. I would NEVER-!” The kami squeaked, now at the bottom of the stairs, looking up at whoever was there.
“Who else is here, Meeky?” At the top of the stairs the voice hissed and something was clearly thrown as it hit an inch above the Kami’s head, sticking into the door that lead to the larger storage room. It stuck in the wood, quivering for some time before it was still to reveal itself as a dagger. Unlike Meeky, Shanks meant business; Shanks was a real pirate with a real pirate’s name.

-----

The calmer palmie standing near Langlin cleared her throat, “I have no arms and so I can’t do much with locks. I was hoping, with that piece of metal, you could pick mine?” As she asked she tugged a long, thick chain forward a little, the metal rattling along the wooden bottom of the room. Around her waist was a locked shackle, like a large, gaudy iron belt.

“I wouldn’t test the guards strength if it’s entirely avoidable, “whispered the palmie, “He is strong and-“ her voice was drowned out by the angrier voice of the palmie who was still shrouded in darkness, locked in a cage.
“HEY! You better unlock this cage I’m in! If you don’t I’ll... I’ll do something real’ awful to you!”

-----

“THREE?!” Shouted the still caged palmie, “THREE?!?! HEY! What am I, chopped liver?! There’s FOUR of us, alright?! Now letmeoutta’hereyoubunchofjerks!” the palmie went about his cage, screaming, ranting and raving. The hint to “be quiet” had been completely ignored by the palmie standing near Langlin, who was currently looking annoyed and concerned.
“Maybe we should help that one out too, if only to get him to be quiet so we can escape.”

-----

“Do you think my brother will be okay?” the common asked, sounding and looking about ready to cry. The fog was thick out here, so thick that even the sounds of the battle went mainly unnoticed.

The two reached a door, both too short to reach the knob. It could offer some shelter and a place to wait for the weather to clear and for rescue to come. But it would do neither of them much good if they couldn’t reach.
“Ah... Maybe if you stand on me?” the palmie suggested, not sounding too sure about the idea.
“Are you very heavy? Maybe I could climb on your shoulders...? Well, I don’t have an hands, though...”

"I'm going to help you first...you're closer, after all," pointed out Langlin. "I"ll help you too, whoever you are...okay? Just be patient..." He reached out carefully to hold the chain, and stuck out the piece of metal, trying to bring the lock into range of his lights.

"Do you think I can risk using a flame on this?" he suggested. "I think I could do that without burning you at all..."

Sister? Now she need to go help find the ash palmie's sister, this wasn't going as Iolana had planned. Taking a deep breath, she called after the palmie. "Palmie! Where did you go? I can help you find your sister if you give me her name." Khimera didn't even know the palmie's name, thier were all lot of them running around this ship. She couldn't see the ash palmie trough the fog, the creature blinded well with the low gray fog. Walking slowly around the deck making sure that she didn't fall off the ship. Trying her best to see through the fog and feeling her way around. "Little palmie can you hear me?" Iolana didn't even know where she was going, walking blindly. Her head hit a wooden door, Iolana slowly opened it and walked in R10

The room was dark and smelled like mold. Wrinkling her nose that the sour smell, she continued to enter. Iolana eyes adjusted to the darkness, looking around the room. The only thing the Khimera could see was a large bed, two side tables and a large bookshelf with couple books on it, and a lot of weapons and weird devices. She walked towards the bookshelf, having a closer look at the strange devices. What are these pirates planning? Ioana was more worried about the ash palmie and the creature's sister. She wanted to help find the plamie's sister, they were somewhere on this ship.

"Alright, alright already!  No need to scream like that.  Do you want the guard to come and see what we're up to?"  Hoping that she hadn't just jinxed them all, Ceanna attempted to look around.  Of course, that chain collar was severely restricting her movements at the time, so all she did was choke herself a little more.  "Dangit, will somebody get this accursed thing off of me!" she screamed, not thinking about the consequences.  All she cared about was getting it off, not trying to free herself and the others.  Of course, she might end up regretting it later on, but only time would tell...  And time was the one thing they didn't have.

Creet didn't say a word, he didn't even dare to breath. Whatever or whoever this "Shanks" was, he scared Meeky right out of his skin. Creet merely stepped further under the stairs, trying to look through cracks to get a look at this Shanks.
Creet knew a Shanks, and he wasn't that nice of a guy, so he could only image how bad this one was. Creet squinted as hard as he could, he just wanted one small glimpse so he could size Shanks up. Maybe he wasn't that strong? Maybe Creet could either over power, or over run him and get off of this crazy ship?

Bryan shrugged.  He didn't think of himself as heavy, since most pets in their human forms could pick him up.  He still wasn't sure though, and he certainly didn't want to hurt the little palmie...
He clicked, still unable to talk correctly.  It might work... he could at least make himself lighter or something.  He pulled a few things out of hit stomach compartment and hoped up and down, just to try to see if he felt any lighter.  He noticed the little rod that had fallen out of his head where he placed it on the ground and looked at it.  He hadn't really inspected it well before and now he felt a little stupid, since turns out it was just a little battery.  Of course he knew where that went; he had a few to power certain parts of his body and still hadn't gotten the upgrade so he only ran on one.  He quickly put it back in his head and shook it, just making sure it wasn't loose.  "There we go.  Sorry about that..." he said, happy that it was fixed.  Not being able to talk had gotten pretty annoying.  "So, I guess I could try getting  on your shoulders... though, do I guess you don't really have shoulders... I don't want to accidentally hurt you.  Are you sure you're fine with this?" he asked, just making sure.
