I looked at Flame. Pathetic. "Your not even worthy of my effort anymore. Look at you. Lying on the ground. Pathetic. Die for all I care. Suffer. Never come back." I got off of Flame and walked away. I didn't want to talk to her. Nothing ever. Never ever. No. I wiped my face.

Titan turned toward Trillium. Tears filled his vision. He fell to the ground. "Stop! JUST STOP! Your friends! Not enemies! You need to stop! It hurts me to see you like this! Stop! Stop! Stop. Stop...." Tears flooded down his face. He sat and watched them. Through everything. He was just the background noise.

Flare looked at Titan. Her heart ached as if it were about to explode right out of her chest. She sat up. She never knew that coming to the Coast would cause so much trouble. Flare pulled herself onto her feet. She walked over to Trillium. She laid her hand gingerly on her shoulder. "Az.... I'm really sorry. I never wanted to leave. Things happened that just pushed me to leave. I was thinking about coming back... I didn't know it would hurt you so much." Flare was prepared to get slapped yet again.

I turned toward Flare. My heart stopped for a second. I looked at her. Tears poured down my face. Her hands were warm and her every word seemed as though it melted my heart. "How could you say such things? You left and you come back looking like that? Please do me a favor and get out of my sight." I looked at her then grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug. "I missed you so much... Why did you leave me? My every day sucked since you left..." I knew that I thought of her as a big sister, and nothing more or less. My heart had hardened since she left, however, since she came back, everything I had worked so hard to fulfill when she was gone. My heart ached with the pain of knowing this might be the last time I'll be able to talk to her. "Please... One last time... Join us on a mission..."

Titan's heart crumbled. He couldn't take it anymore. They were finally making up and yet... And yet... Trillium had changed in a way that made his heart ache. He turned toward Flare. "Please... Just this once? Everyone on board has missed you so dearly. You need to come back. Things have been odd with out you around. So will you do us the favor?" Titan asked, clutching his hands over his heart.

Flare looked at Trillium. Then back to Titan. She closed her eyes and sighed. "I'll come back, but just for one last mission. Please realize that I will probably leave after this... I've found a home, a place thats safe. Somewhere where everyone is accepted." Flare looked up. She knew what the reaction might be. "Will you come to see where I've found? It's a happy place. All the pets are nice and there is always food. Always a warm place to sleep. And a kind person to look after us.." She was cut off by the disgusted look on Trillium's face.

I turned toward Flare. I swallowed. "Have you forgotten everything I have taught you? Do you remember anything?!" My voice was ringing through the fields. I turned to see my men stop working. I turned toward Flare. "You know nothing! You don't understand! You'll never understand! You used to understand! You used to be with us! You used to ENJOY this life! You never cared about a warm home! A warm bed! Anything! You were the one who looked after me in the hardest of times! During the time I used to think there was no hope in life! You would come! You would be there for me! I was always there for you! But now! I'm not so sure I can deal with this anymore! You hear me now! I came to you when you needed me! You were there! But you left! You... You...! Just... Go...." I was past tears. The only thing that came was the anger that slowly engulfed all of my feelings. I was almost on the verge of punching her. I turned to walk away. Nothing would make me turn around.

Anger welled on Titans face. He was sick of this. "Both of you just shut the hell up! Listen to logic! You were best friends, now your acting as if your worse enimes! Get over this! You guys are just acting stupid! I thought this would work better! Of course I'm just selfish! I'm through!" Titan turned and walked away toward the other men looking for treasure, but now looking for a place to set up camp.
