In contrast to the Dead Coast, Sa'fir Coast is jokingly referred to as the world's largest pepper deposit because of its black sand beaches. They attract tourists, who can enjoy the tropical landscape of Barakka without facing its harsh environments. (+2 Endurance)

Lila, unnamed(as of right now), Nate

Nate was walking cautiously looking and sniffing over the whole area. He seemed anxious almost to an obsessive level seeing if anyone was in the area. When he couldn't find anyone, or anything he breathed a small sigh of relief and bounded back into the near by bushes. When he came out again Lila was following behind him carrying their newly adopted son. Lila gently set him down and laid down next to him. "That little bugger is heavy. What's she been eating?"
"Oh come on now he can't be that bad"
"Oh ya? Well, you can try carrying him around then for the next hour."
The little leaflet cooed happily as she wiggled in the sand. This was a new sensation for her. So far all she had known was the darkness of the Slums. She liked the sun light hitting her leaves and the warmth of the sand. She was very happy here.
"Aww, look at her Nate she's so happy here. She gave her mate a smile You're going to be a great dad.
Nate sits down next to her and the leaflet "You think so?
I know so, love Lila nuzzled her mates cheek as the leaflet continued to play with the sand.

Nate curled up around the leaflet protectively, wanting to let the little girl know that her daddy was there. Lila rolls her eyes. Any boy that tries to get near their daughter was going to have nerves of steel or else suffer being chewed to bits. Your such a sentimental sap.
Nate glared at herNo I'm not, I just appreciate the fact that i have a kid that loves me unconditionally for the time being.
Lila laughs Well, I suppose that's true. She lays down nose to nose with Nate. You know I don't think we've named her yet.
Are you sure?
I'm pretty sure that I would remember that conversation.

Nate looks at his leaflet while she dug in the sand and cooed happily. I suppose that we should figure that out. I wonder how old she is?
I don't think it really matters, but if I had to make a guess I would put her at 2 days at most.
How could you abandon your child after having them for a day?
I don't know. But, she's with us now love. She doesn't have to worry about anyone else mistreating her.
]Yes, that's true. He gives his now incredibly sandy daughter a kiss on the forehead.
The leaflet shakes her head trying to Nate off of her, then she climbs up onto his paws wanting to submerse herself in his thick fluffy fur. She must share this wonderful sand with someone after all.

Nate and Lila laugh as their daughter buries herself in Nate's fur. I guess both of you are going to need a bath when we get home. We still need to think of a name for her you know.
Nate thinks to himself for a minute while the leaflet continues to kneed herself into his fur. "How about Isabel?"
No.... it sounds to regal. She's come from too humble beginnings to have a name like that. Not to mention that we aren't regal in any sort of way.
I suppose that's true. The leaflet turns to start makeing her way over to Lila. She falls as she tries to get off of Nate's paws. Her eyes tear up, but surprisingly she does not start to cry.

Phew, I thought we might have had a tantrum on our paws. Lila picks up her daughter and places her next to her. The leaflet cheers up feeling the warmth of her new mother next to her. How about Samantha, we could call her Sam or Sammy for short.
I don't like it, sounds too much like a boy's name for my little princess.
Lila watched as her daughter threw up sand into the air and letting it fall on her head. I don't think that she's ever going to act like a little princess.
I don't care. She'll always be my little princess.

Well... how about Christina? If its too long we could call her Tina or Chrissy... never mind, one Chrissy in the house is enough for anyone to deal with. She didn't want her little girl picking up on Chrissy's hyper attitude. Not to mention Chrissy would be all puffed out and proud thinking that they named their little girl after her. Lila had no intention with dealing with that mess.

Nate shook his head in agreement.Indeed, if she turned out like that hyper yellow ball of fluff I would curse my fathering skills.

Well, I'm out of ideas. Why don't you try coming up with some names?

I did come up with a name. You just didn't like it.

Trying once does not count as you putting in your fair share.

Fine then. Nate sat and thought for a little while. While he was thinking the little leaflet was playing with Lila's tail. She was throwing it up into the air and catching it with her mouth. She started to chew on it a little. Lila knew what she was doing, but didn't mind. She didn't have teeth yet so it wasn't hurting her. However, she didn't realize how much drool was accumulating on her tail.

How about Kitty, kind of an oxymoron don't you think?

NO!!

It was just a joke, jeez, no need to fly off the handle. Ok, um... how about Sage?

Getting warmer with that one.

How about the name Juniper? We could call her Juni for short. She picks up the leaflet and places her next to her shoulders. Lila looks at her tail with dismay as she sees the slobber run down the end of it. Ewww, now she needed a bath too. Lila sighs and glares down at the leaflet who giggles and smiles back up at her. That's not funny.

I don't like Juniper for a name it's too masculine. What is it with you and shorting up names? Nate watches the exchange between his mate and child. He tries to stifle a laugh, but it's very hard for him. He felt a little bad for Lila, but it served her right for letting the little one chew on her tail.

How about the name Rin? Its short, sweet, and cute.

Rin, huh? I like it, rolls of the tongue. He mulls over it for a minute Ya... Rin... I like it alot. I vote for a winner.

Rin looked between her two parents not understanding what was going on. All she knew was that she was starting to get tired and wanted to go to sleep. The sand was much more comfortable than the concrete that she was used to sleeping on and she began to doze off on the beach. She hoped that she would live in this new strange world. She had put up a fight when the purple one first picked her up, but that was long gone. They had fed her, cleaned the grime off her leaves and introduced her to this wonderful place. She hoped they would stay with her forever.

Aww, look at her Nate. She's sound asleep. I can't believe that she fell asleep here.

I can. This sand is a lot more comfortable than anything she's ever come in contact with.

That's true. Just wait until we take her home, she won't know what to do with herself.

Lila gets up and stretches. Alright, your turn to carry her. She's heavy and I no longer have the strength to lift her.

Nate rolls his eyes Ok dear, what ever you say. He gently picks up Rin. Boy, she was heavy, it was like she was just dead weight. Maybe they should take her to the doctor tomorrow. Of course he wasn't going to admit this to Lila. He didn't want that the fact that she was right flaunted in his face. Quickly the two left to go home and rest and take a bath as everyone was covered in sand.
