(Click for Human)Piper A girl somewhere in her late teens stood ankle-deep in the water, staring absent-mindedly out to sea. A small breeze came along and flicked her hair into her face, drawing her back to her surroundings. She swiped the errant hairs behind her ear and looked up at the sky. It was a gorgeous night out. Turning, Piper walked along the water's edge, the scarf around her waist fluttering with each step. Looking ahead, she suddenly noticed a bonfire in the distance. Funny, how had she not noticed before? Curious, she headed for it.
As she approached, the sand muffling her already soft steps, she saw two girls chatting by the fire. She overheard one of them comment on what a nice night it was and she smiled.
"
Yes, it is a beautiful night, isn't it?" she called as she approached. Then, realizing they might not have heard, her eyes widened slightly and she paused.
"
Oh, I hope I didn't startle you. I was walking and saw the fire, so I thought I'd come say hi." Piper smiled gently at them, waiting for their response before she rudely entered their circle.
