As the sun fell behind the horizon of the earth, the sky was painted with wonderful colors of purples and reds, turning even the few clouds in the sky dark and stunning colors. And then, as if to complete the wonderful artwork created in the sky, little glittery specks of stars blended into the colors with more and more coming out the darker it got. The entire observation made by the young Pixii Kuhna was all telling her how far she had come from her own strange little village. It was also a stunning reminder of the life she had left behind; Celestial Village, a strange little island which floated in the sky. Aislinn suddenly did not know if she were to be upset and sad at her departure, or relived and excited.
The temperature dropped with the glorious fire ball that was slowly sinking. Aislinn would have to find a place to stay soon. “And food,” She breathed out as she felt claws of hunger rake at her stomach. A painful reminder telling her to find some as soon as possible.
However, she couldn't help but stop as she heard a low grumble of what seemed to be disapproval. Little did Aislinn know that she happened to be directly behind a shed of a blacksmith. What was more, it seemed that there was a creature on the other side whom was in just about the same predicament as she. Cautiously and curiously, Aislinn crept closer to the shed and allowed herself to peak on the other side. She could not see the blacksmith, however she did see another Kuhna. She supposed it would be useless to ask him for food. After all, he was asking to sleep in a shed for goodness sakes. But perhaps if she waited here a little bit longer, the blacksmith would feed him.
She hunched down, fighting sleep and waiting—hoping she could beg someone to take her in and feed her.
Despite how embarrassing that will be. I have no other choice... She thought bitterly.
