Isilvar could sense the others closing in on them. Too bad they weren't smart enough to split up and corner him. He was nearing the docks where his hidden boat was. He would be there any minute now. He crouched low in behind a bush. He looked out and saw that there was no one in view. He krept across the empty street and sidewalk. He saw the boat bobbing beside the dock with its one lone lattern. He cursed quietly. He should have put the light out!

Dream bobbed along with her arms on her abductors back to prevent herself from smacking her chin against his back. She searched through the darkness, looking for Firework. She couldn't see him anywhere.

Firework saw a light in the distance. Fool, you left the lantern on. Firework crouched behind a bush and signalled Grafitti to stop. "We'll split up; You go right, I go left. You corner the guy, and I'll send his boat off for a little... joyride." Firework grinned evily.

Grafitti nodded and headed right into the woods. He soon caught sight of the abductor and Dream. He snarled, trying to back him away from the boat.

Firework ran the opposite way. He slipped quietly onto the boat and hid. Not my idea of a joyride, but if he gets on, I'll be ready.

Isilvar was barely startled by the snarling he heard from the woods. He was headed toward his boat, and he was almost there. He didn't realize that Firework had gotten into the boat. He laid the girl into the boat and slid in. He undid the rope from the dock and started up the motor. It jammed and he cursed under his breath once more. He had to fix it before he went anywhere.

Dream lay on the bottom of the boat. She squirmed around until she was sitting up. She caught sight on Ifrework, hiding in the boat. She caught his eye and hoped that she had seen her look and went to help her. She wanted the gag and ropes off of her. She wanted to get away from this starnger in black.

Firework quietly cut the ropes on Dream. "Come on. We need to get out of here," he whispered.

Isilvar heard the whisper come from behind him and spun about. He held a short sword in one hand and a longsword in the other hand. This other stood no chance against him and his blades. He smirked. "Surrender," he said, his voice like a whisper. His black cloak billowed out behind him and around him, giving him the appearance of a true villian. His jade green eyes flashed a warning to Firework. He wasn't one to be messed with

Drema breathed slowly in and out. Her gagg was off of her mouth and her hands were free. She nodded, but before she could get out of the boat the stranger was upon them. She gasped and shrank to Firework. She hoped the stranger wouldn't hurt her or Firework.

Firework became a human - he had mastered switching quickly. He pulled a pocket gun out of his back pocket. "No, you surrender. This thing can shoot 60+ per MINUTE." Firework gave emphisis on 'minute.'

Isilvar grinned evily. So, he had underestimanted the other. But, he would just have to be firther prepared next time. He had expected a fight of swords, not guns. He knew guns were faster than even his movements, which were very swift and fast. He put the swords away and grabbed the girl before she had time to even bat an eye. He held her up to his chest with her back against his chest and a dagger against her thoat. The wind blew his hood off of his face and he wished it hadn't. He hadn't had time to conceal what he was feeling. He silently cursed his eyes, for they always gave away what he felt, that was the purpose for the hooded cloak.

Dream was caught off gaurd by the sudden movements of her abductor. She was in his arms, but his grip wasn't as tight as before, it was almost a tender kind of hold. She was surprised and it must have shown on her face, because there was no way to conceal her surprise. She studied the man's face, something she didn't really want to do. His eyes were on her, not the pistil pointing at them. His eyes were shrouded in misery and sorrow, though he tried to mask it well. His face was pale, and that of young man, rather close to her age. He blinked, and the look of misery and sorrow was gone. Pure evil replaced it and she nearly gasped when he spun her around to embrace her before he jumped from the boat and disappeared into the dark night. She collasped onto the floor of the boat and shivered. It was very cold and getting very late. Tears began to stream down her face, she didn't know why, nor could she stop them. That look had seemed so desperate, she couldn't erase it from her mind.

Firework blinked out of pure shock. What had just happened? He shook his head and locked the gun before he put it back in his pocket. Firework knelt down to Dream. "Are you ok?" he asked, for there was nothing else to talk about. When something like that happens, the last thing you want to do is chit chat.

Dream shivered. "I don't know," she whispered. She wasn't quite sure if what had just happened was simply imagined or had actually happened. She wanted to curl up in Firework's arms and stay there. She shifted closer to Firework as if to say 'hold me, and don't let go until I'm ready.' She didn't want to say the actual words, and was afraid that if she did her voice wouldn't want to come out.

Firework held her. The best day, had turned into the worst nightmare. Firework wished this was all a dream. He wished that he could be pinched and wake up. But no, this was real.

Dream shivered in Firework's arms. It was warmer there, and she felt more comfortable. She felt the tears stop streaming down her face, and tried to stop them. She eventually did and felt the dry tearstains on her cheeks. She inhaled through her nose it made a sniffleing sound. She hated to cry, becaus eher nose always got runny and then stuffy. She wiped her sleeve across her face and heard the tinkling of the bracelet she had recieved earlier. She smiled to herself. At least it had started out as a good day. She sat with her arms around her knees and her head against Firework's chest. At least she was comfotable.

Firework kissed the tops of Dream's head. He looked out to the town. All the shops were closed, all the lights were off. "We should get back to shore," he whispered.

Dream nodded. she hadn't realized that the boat had drifted out from shore as far as it had. She glanced back at the shore and sighed. "Okay," she said. "Do you see any oars?" She looked around the boat, searching for oars. Every boat had to have a pair, right?

Firework spotted a pair and began rowing back to shore. As soon as they were there, her helped Dream off the boat. "I'll walk you home," he said.

Dream clung to Firework's hand as he helped her from the boat. After she stepped out she walked as close to him as possible. She was glad for the escort. They walked on until they reached the apartment complex. They stood at the entrance to the structure at the bottom of the steps. "Walk me to my room?" Dream suggested. She didn't want to be taken away again, and she hoped Firework would check the room before he left her.
