"Yeah, whatever I'll show you to the gambling den..." She muttered under her breath as she trotted along the otherwise deserted street. Raising her voice she replied, "I don't really go to the Den, if ever for gambling. I'm a proper risk-taker, I don't get my thrills from sitting around a table playing with cards, though I can play. And the name's Amira, runt."
She couldn't help but slip an insult in there, it was like second nature to her.
Flicking her head around to get a better scope of the street she picked out her path to the Den that would take them down a few darker alleyways. She wasn't sure intimidating him would even work, he seemed to be infatuated with her. Ugh, boys were like that, always trying to get what they couldn't have then trying to tame their girls. Too bad that had already happened before and she had learnt from it- not to trust guys at all.
Without a word, and not necessarily listening if Gamble was talking she lead him down several dark allies, each one more decrepit than the other. Finally she reached the point she had been looking for.
With little more warning than a growl, she shouldered the male into the corner of where two buildings came together.
"Listen runt. I'm only hanging around with you because I'm being nice." She brought her face close to his, almost baring her teeth. "If you had any other ideas, you can scamper away now kid."
There was no anger or malice in her voice, she was just simply intimidating him. With the job done she took a few steps back to assess his reaction, and to see if she still had to escort him to the Den.
