Alastor Moody growled, he didn't like this place, not at all. Everyone seemed to be happy, conversational, and always seemed to be interested in him. He was having to beat them off every step he took. It was quite tiring, and he decided to rest, sitting on a near by bench. He groaned as he stretched out his fake leg, trying to find a comfortable position.
Something brushed up against his leg, and he shuffled away in response. Leaning over to see what it was, he noticed a pure white furred kitten. It looked up to him and mewed lightly, the bell around his neck jingled softly. He looked at the kitten, a confused look on his face.
"Well, where'd yeh come from?" He asked, holding out a hand to see if it was friendly.
Rubbing it's head up against his hand, it was obvious the little guy was friendly.
"Where's yer owner?" He asked, picking him up lightly.
The kitten mewed again, seeming to be overjoyed. Moody looked the kitten over, trying to find something that would say where she came from.
"Yeh remind me of someone I know." He commented, seeming to drift off into his thoughts.
The kitten mewed again, squirming a bit in his outstretched arms. it was apparent that she didn't like the position she was in. Moody placed her in his lap, and she curled up, obviously getting more comfortable. Moody smiled and petted her lightly on the head.
"Well, we can just wait 'ere fer yer owner den." He replied softly.
