Nice and peaceful, Nabias offers a great place to start your journey or stock up on supplies before heading out to brave the rest of the wilderness out there. They also have Barakka's largest hospital facility to treat all sorts of injuries you could get out there. (+2 Precision)

{6 Posts : The Bakery}

Reema led the way into the crowded bakery. Weaving through people traveling in all directions. She finally made it to a steady line of patrons headed toward the counter.
"Look at all these people Mia!" She shouted over the crowd hoping the serraptor close behind would understand.
"What?!"
Reema shook her head and looked ahead. She saw smiling faces at the counter, at the tables, leaving the bakery. The food must be satisfying. Her mouth watered thanks to the sweet and delicious smells in the air. They were far stronger in here of course.

Mira tapped the yonyuu on her shoulder, "I hope they don't run out of anything! It all looks so delicious!"
Reema nodded in agreement and inched forward with the line of people.

Mira was looking around and caught a glimpse of something disappearing behind the counter. What was that? She kept her eyes on it but couldn't see anything else, try as she might. Maybe when they got closer she'd have another look. Reema apparently hadn't seen anything so she kept that small occurrence to herself.

"Christmas?! I'm starting preparations for the new year celebrations thank you very much!"

Lucario's nose was twitching excitedly as they walked toward the bakery. He looked at the building, decorated like a gingerbread house. A beautiful Christmas tree was shining brightly in one corner, a counter was full of baked holiday goods and two ladies were smiling happily behind the counter.  The whole place smelled of cinnamon and icing sugar. The tree was decked with baubles of every shape, size and colour. A bright angel lit the top of the tree, the rest was full of tinsel and multicolored strung lights.
    Mariana stretched her head high into the warm, welcoming air. She scooped a gingerbread man off the counter, and gobbled it down. It was the best cookie she'd ever eaten. She gobbled down a few other types of cookies and sat down to enjoy the view from the window.

Mariana watched out the window as carolers and groups of people crowded around the fountain, around the tree, and around the chestnut roasters. The geese were paddling along, families were strolling around and elves were sneaking in the shadows, making the lights twinkle and the children happy. The bakers were baking up a storm, making cakes, cookies and sweet loaves.
    Lucario admired the stockings and snowflakes hung all around the walls. The ovens were heating up some delicious cookies, and Christmas tunes were being blared from the speakers placed throughout the square. The snow was falling heavily, and blanketed the ground like icing on a cake.
