Kelsey - Jayden

"Hey," Jayden said plugging his headphones into his controller.

"Hey!" came a much more enthusiastic reply. "How've you been?" the woman asked. She always loved playing with him, but he had a terrible habit of rubbing his mic all over the place before actually putting it next to his face.

"Fine, fine," Jayden replied. "What about you?" he asked.

"Not so bad," Kelsey replied. "Ready to get you're game on?" she asked. This weekend was a special one... well she supposed every weekend was special considering that was when the event went on.

"So ready," he said with a laugh.

[Sarah]

"Do you have our third?" Kelsey asked. She typically provided the other team member, but none of her friends were high enough level to play the event. They had tried to do a raid for better loot, but the boss proved to be more tenacious than they had thought. By the end of it they had just run out of time in their real lived to continue trying.

[Sarah]

Vendor

"I do, but we'll have to wait a moment for him to get on," Jayden replied.

"That's fine, I have to get the bounties and everything anyways," Kelsey said. She took her ship down to an outpost and looked for the guy running the event. This event always interested her, the lore behind it was minimal but there was enough to keep everyone guessing.

"Is it time?" The vendor asked her.

She ignored him and grabbed the bounties and went back to her ship. The whole process was incredibly painless which was amazing. Kelsey hated games that took a million years of dislodge to reach any sort of action. Some of the NPC's liked talking her ear off, but this one never seemed to mind her taking what she needed and leaving.

[Sarah]

Semi

"Okay I'm ready," she said. After she switched her gear around she joined Jayden.

"Heya," someone said.

"You're just in time!" Kelsey greeted. She had no idea who this person was, but his timing was convenient.

"I go by Semi, if you don't mind," he said.

"Of course! I go by Hansel," Kelsey said cheerily.

"And I go by Eel," Jayden said.

[Sarah]

Semi laughed. "Now that we've gotten that out of the way we can get started," he said.

"I'll get us queued up now," Jayden said.

Kelsey had been playing with him for so long she wondered if she might slip up and call him by his real name. She doubted it typically she was good about controlling what came out of her mouth. Plus their game would take some good call outs, and she didn't want to confuse Semi. "Should we match?" She asked just as they were matched against their first opponents. Most teams did, but they hadn't even talked about it before hand.

[Sarah]

"Absolutely," Semi said as they loaded into the map. "Do we all have the black armor coloring?" he asked.

Kelsey had been secretly hoping he would suggest that one, it was her favorite. Simple and mysterious and it wasn't a complete spotlight.

"I do, and I know Hansel does," Jayden said. "It'll have to wait until after the match though," he added.

"Duh," Kelsey said.

[Sarah]

"They're in castle," Semi said.

"Okay. I'll go to apartments and snipe them," Jayden said as he broke away from them.

"We'll go around back and drive them out," Semi said.

"sounds like a plan," Kelsey said and she readied her shotgun. The map of the weekend was of a section of a ruined city. It was a big map for 3v3, so most teams rocked sniper rifles. Kelsey had always preferred getting close and personal with her opponents. Even if shotguns were at a disadvantage on the map it wouldnt stop her from adapting some strategy to win.

[Sarah]

They ran around the left edge of the map in order to get to the back side of the castle. "Have they moved?" Kelsey asked.

"They've been going back and forth between their spawn and castle. I don't think they'll know you're there until it is too late," Jayden said.

Kelsey grinned and picked up the pace. She had tried shooting an enemy point blank from a sniper. It was almost impossible unless one was actually inside their enemy.

[Sarah]

"Woah," Kelsey gasped. As she ran around the corner there was another player. She instinctively shot her gun and his body went down. "Got one," she said triumphantly. Semi had an auto rifle of some kind and he was laying into the second guy who had come after them.

"I can't see them anymore, so I think they're all back with you," Jayden told them.
