Addie jumped down to her, assessing the damage. She was most definitely the most accident-prone woman he had ever met. The shard of broken mask was what worried him most. If he removed it, she would likely bleed to death. If he didn't, chances were she would bleed to death anyway. "Hang in there, Shy," he said shakily, as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed in 9-1-1.

Tori smiled slightly, giving his hands a small squeeze. At least he was trying, right? "Nothing, really. We just had some disagreements."

Shy coughed slightly, her yes screwed shut, trying to breath in a less ragged way than what she was. She didn't want to worry him. She gripped his hand lightly, her skin was white and clammy. Her breathing had become shallower and harsher, a black haze beginning to invade her vision, she blinked it away quickly. "I love you, Addie. And I'm sorry." She coughed again, sweat beginning to form on her brow.

Blaidd shoot his head, "Please, I want to know." He squeezed her hand gently, then raising it to his lips and kissing along her knuckles, a smirk pulling at his lips. "Please, tell me everything." He brought her hand from his lips and placed his other hand over her hand, watching her closely.

[Tori]

-=A Couple Of Weeks Later=-

Addie sat on his bed, a pair of black headphones hung around his neck, an open sketch pad on his lap. Shy was downstairs with the rest of the family, but her image was still fresh in his mind. He sketched her skillfully on the rough paper, drawing her as he knew she was probably still sitting, with her feet on Blaidd's lap as she read a book. He was a talented artist, but to him, Shy was more beautiful than anything art could capture.

Tori dozed on Blaidd's shoulder, half listening to the television.

Blaidd smiled and stroked Tori's hair lovingly, glancing to Shy whim had silently left the room and walked upstairs. She had a knack for that. It was scary. He sighed and picked up the discarded book, placing in the bookmark, a pressed and laminated lilly petal. He placed it in the book, on the page she was reading and placed it on the table beside the sofa, laying down and dragging Tori down with him, so she was resting her head on his chest, her ear directly over his heartbeat.

Shy ended up sitting beside Addie, she didn't clamber over him, she didn't even seem to make herself known, she was just suddenly there. "My nose is not that straight." Shy siad simply, gazing at the drawing, she was slightly more full than a few weeks ago, and slightly more comfortable with her figure. In less than a month, she should be able to overpower Blaidd, by using all f her strength and with a lot of willpower.

[Tori]

Tori closed her eyes, lulled by the slow beating of his heart. It was times like this that reminded her why she married him. He made her feel so safe, unlike anyone else she had ever known. His arms were a better protection from the evil of the world than any fortress. "I love you, Blaidd," she whispered, running her hand up his chest and resting it on his shoulder.

Addie simply smiled. "You're so hard on yourself, Shy," he said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

Blaidd smiled and gripped her hand gently, moving it from his shoulder to his lips and kissing the palm gently, smiling and resting it back on his shoulder, gazing down at her fondly, burshing the back of his fingers against his cheek, his head tilted and his now shaggy hair hanging in his eyes. He had a shadow of stubble. It simply made him look rugged.

Shy smiled and leaned against him, gently but forcefully taking the pencil from his hand and changing the sketch slightly so her legs were in a more natural position and her facial feautres looked more like her own than Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty's.

[Tori]

Tori smiled, running her hand over the stubble on his cheek, leaning up to kiss him tenderly on the lips. She rested her head on his chest again, gently playing with his hair as she gazed lovingly into his silver eyes.

Addie smiled and shook his head, gently taking the pencil and pad from her hands and setting them next to him on the bed. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug, holding her softly against his chest and kissing the top of her head.

Blaidd smiled and brushed his lips against her forehead. "Want me to shave soon?" He grinned, kissing her palm again. "I love you. I really do." He hoped she could see in his eyes it was pure honesty. "And I'm so, so sorry for all the pain I've caused you over the years. You didn't deserve it." Tears were beginning to spring in his eyes as he kissed her forehead tenderly.

Shy grinned and nuzzled up against him, resting her head on his shoulder and letting her eyes slip shut. Since she had disowned Blaidd, he couldn't say anything about her and Addie, after all, he was no longer her son, just a very close freind that she would die multiple times for. And she almost did.

Tori crawled up closer, wiggling onto his chest, her legs on either side of his waist. She kissed his cheek, resting her head on his shoulder, her face buried in his neck. "I think it's sexy," she whispered, pressing her lips to his neck. She could feel his pulse against her chest. She always felt like his heart was strong enough for the both of them. "Let it go, baby," she said. "It's in the past. If I were in your position, I probably would have acted the same way."

Addie sighed contentedly, gently brushing her hair behind her ear, letting his fingers trail over her cheek, trace her jawline. He looked wistfully into her beautiful, dark eyes, ever so gently lifting her chin, brushing his lips against hers.

Shy smiled and rested her head on his shoulder again, taking his hand gently and placing it over her waist, letting her fingers trail random patterns up his arm. She seemed to be thinking, shown by the dreamy look upon her face. She was thinking, mostly, about how she could mess with Addie's hair.

Blaidd smiled slightly and relaxed, he loved this woman, oh how he loved this woman. He hoped, prayed and wished that she would never leave him. He felt his hearbeat grow stronger, he turned his head slightly so he had his face buried in her hair and inhaled deeply, he adored her scent. It also always seemed to have a little bit of him mixed in, too.

=The Next Day=

Addie set aside his sketch pad, leaning back onto his pillow and closing his eyes. Such a long day.

Tori nestled herself comfortably under Blaidd's arm, curling up next to him in her Kuhna form. She washed the fur on her flank with her tongue and pet it smooth with her paw, then rested her head on his lap, purring contentedly.

Shy listened to the music carefully as she packed a satchel of a spare change of clothes, money she had saved up over the years, swinding the satchel over her shoulder, she slipped out of her room quietly, she had Charlie, she had her clothes, she had her masks. She was all ready. Walking down the stairs silently and carefully, she went through the living room, noticing Blaidd was awake, before he could question her, she bolted. Bounding through the living room and through the front door, she crossed the road on foot, barely missing being hit by a car, and sprinting into the forest. Blaidd hadn't spoken. He knew. and he was hot on her tail. Watching as she leapt over the large, fast river, he attempted to follow her, swimming in his lucain form, his head went under and he turned back instead. glancing over his shoulder to Shy. She had gone. Hebowed his head in shame, walking back to his home, not even bothering to shake the water from himself. He nosed open the door silently, water dripping off his fur, every contour of his mody was shown due to his lack of fluffyness. He walked past Tori, not even glancing at her, simply staring straight ahead. Why had she ran? What did he do?

[Tori]

Tori shook her fur to loosen it up. "What happened?" she asked, eyeing Blaidd. "Was that Shy?"

"Hey, did something happen?" Addie asked as he made his way down the stairs. "I heard the door slam."

Blaidd looked pityful, his fur hung lank and his eyes were dull. Why had she ran? What had he done to make her flee like she had? He didn't even look at them. It was pretty obvious what had happend. He moved towards the heater and lay beside it, not staring at anything. Why had she ran?

[Tori]

She simply hopped down from the couch with a quick glance at Addie, padding across the carpet and sitting beside Blaidd. She began to lick him dry, carefully working the fur on his muzzle with her rough feline tongue. "It had to happen sometime," she whispered somberly, hoping she could at least console him a little. She didn't understand; she never really knew her mother, and what she did remember wasn't good. She didn't know what Blaidd was going through-- but that wouldn't stop her from trying. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
