Feral

Hyaku

The Lykuhna was surprisingly strong for his size, A malachite hunter grasped the lead of the Kuhnas collar firmly and gave it a sharp yank. Feral however paid him no heed, he could smell fish, and he was going to have it with or without Hyaku's help!

Hyaku cursed himself for bringing the were-kuhna anywhere near the fishing city, as soon as the kuhna had smelt the odour of fish that hung around every part of the city, he had started going berserk. Not that that was unusual, he was berserk most of the time, hence the collar and lead he was forced to wear. But it was a shame, Hyaku had almost had Feral acting civil for a change, he had even spoken a few words, rather than snarling and growling!

Grasping the lead in his claws and digging his feet into the earth, Hyaku managed to halt the kuhnas slow but steady progress towards a pile of crates of fish, waiting to be loaded onto a ship. "Feral! Stop this nonsense!" he ordered, his voice deep and powerful. Surprisingly Feral stopped tugging and pulling on his lead and turned to face the hunter, a cold gleam in his eyes. Without further ado he leapt onto Hyaku and began biting and clawing the bigger beasts crystal hide.

"Hey now, whats the meaning of this!" What a wonderful sight to walk into. Scowling, Bustron glared at the thing attacking one of his own kind. Of course, the green hunter was probably more than able to take care of himself, but that was besides the point. Before Bustron could do much about it though, There was a body blocking his path and with a light snarl he poked the Ribs of his companion. "Mind moving out of the way, Raff?"

"Oh I think not my friend, or we'll be in more hot water than its worth. Look closer... I'd be attacking anyone who dared to chain and collar me as well, so I say bully for the furball... I think it might even be a Kuhna species?" Riff Raff turned slightly to watch the ongoing struggle. Yes, it was some sort of Kuhna. How odd. He couldn't help but admire the fighting spirit the cat was showing the larger hunter.

Feral was going at Hyaku tooth and nail, of course he didn't really do much damage, the strong crystal of Hyaku's body deflecting most attacks, and those that did hit healed up quickly, but it was a very good way to vent his frustration, he wanted fish! not to mention he was sick to death of his collar and lead already, and he'd only recently had it fitted.

Hyaku lay still for a bit, letting the little kuhna attack him, before deftly throwing him off, and pinning him to the ground, at this point Feral let out a series of hisses, and snarls, "If you want me to let you go, you have to ask me!" Hyaku told the irate kuhna. It was at this point that Hyaku noticed the newcomers, one interesting looking hunter a breed of which he had never seen before and a strange dog like thing. The dog seemed to be preventing the hunter from coming forward, perhaps to help?.

In his surprise at seeing another of his species so suddenly, Hyaku loosened his hold on Feral, who promptly released himself with a screech. Hyaku was too busy staring at the hunter to notice however, realising how rude he was being he offered an introduction to the pair "Hello, My name is Hyakujuunoou, but you may call me Hyaku, and this is Feral, It is a pleasure to meet you!", and he meant it, other than caring for Feral, he devoted his life to finding other hunters, in the hope of creating a pride.

Bustron realized he had distracted the other hunter from subdueing the kuhna and was about to offer an appology when the male spoke his greetings. "Hello Hyaku, I am Bustron Deladiazyr but you may call me Bustron, and my companion King Riff Raff of the Bite-Then-Bark Pack." Bustron was mainly red Jasper based but had some gold in him as well thanks to his mother. Introductions were a mouthful, and now that they were done he quirked an eyebrow. "Feral? the name seems to suite him." He offered a smile but wondered how Hyaku managed to tolerate such bad behavior with such calm.

King Riff Raff tilted his head as he watched Feral, something speculative gleaming in his eyes. "I don't suppose Feral, that you'd be interested in joining an army to channel that agression?" Of course, armys meant following your leaders orders and such, and Raff was begining to think this Kuhna might have a problem with that.

Hyaku nodded at both newcomers, "Yes it does indeed" he agreed with Bustron, a slightly amused smile on his face, "I hope you'll forgive his behaviour, it is in his blood you see, he is a were-kuhna and as such has a very aggressive nature. We keep him on a lead as he is prone to attacking anyone without cause". As Riff-raff spoke to Feral, Hyaku turned to see Feral's response.

Feral had been crouching down to spring at Hyaku's back, it was a rare thing for the hunter to present such a good target to him, and he was still angry. In mid leap his mind registered that someone had said his name, and that someone was not Hyaku, this brought Hyaku's attention back to him, Hyaku neatly sidestepped the kuhna's attack and Feral landed with a bump on the floor. Ignoring whatever the odd creature had said to him he picked himself and launched himself at Riff-Raff the one who had caused him to miss his target, teeth bared and claws unsheathed.

Bustron listened as the other hunter explained just why the creature was on a leash. It made sense, to not only protect society as a whole but also to protect the were-kuhna from the laws of the land. After all, it wouldn't do the owner any good to loose everything they had in lawsuits and stuff. It was then he noticed what was going on. "Raff stop!"

Riff-Raff had been watching Feral and as the cat lunged at him he abruptly lunged to the left so that the main of Feral's attack missed although he did recieve claw marks on his right shoulder. As he shifted to the left his jaw parted and fangs aimed at connecting with feral near ferals right shoulder/lower neck and his weight was attempted to tackle the Kuhna. This was more fun than he'd had in ages!

Feral forgot the existence of both hunters as the fight became interesting, there were a few ruby red droplets of blood on his claws and the sight and smell was driving him into a frenzy, as the Fenref launched at him he leapt himself to meet him halfway, the Fenrefs teeth sank into the baggy flesh at his neck that still existed from when his mother used to carry him around by it; which protected him from most of the damage he would have sustained otherwise. He felt the blood dripping down his fur. Instead of being tackled his leaping at the Fenref enabled him to wrap his legs around his body even though he was somewhat smaller than him (effectively he was hanging off Riff-Raff under his belly), his claws still unsheathed he started to dig them into the others fur as he mouth sought it's own target, he could just about reach the base of the ear and started stretching his head towards it.

Looking on in horror as the pair crashed to the ground, Feral ending up mostly underneath Riff-Raff, Hyaku stood mouth agape, stupefied by the violence that was ensuing , in his paw he held the limp remains of the Kuhna's snapped lead.

Riffraff had gotten a grip on the kuhna's scruff and as he felt the creature begining to claw and tear at his belly RR attempted to savagely shake his head in an effort to both disorient Feral and keep his blows from doing more damage. The upper area of his cheek was bitten, as Feral couldn't quite reach the base of his ear. His spiked collar would protect RR from most attacks towards his neck and as he felt and tasted the blood his front right paw attempted to slam down on the Kuhna (chest area preferably) in an effort to pin him.

The scent of blood was stinking up the air and Bustron felt a surge of anger at RR for probably undoing whatever taming advances Hyaku might have been making. Shaking his head, he glared at the two, then seeing the  shock on Hyaku's face he aimed to nudge the other hunter. "Shall we seperate them, or let them get it out of their systems?"

Ferals paws were dripping with Riff Raff's blood and his neck fur was plastered with his own from both Riff Raff's teeth that had sheared through his flesh and the sharp spikes on RR's collar that the Kuhna had impaled himself upon slightly so as to get at RR's face/ear. He didn't feel the pain he was in due to his blood lust, he started to react as Riff Raff reached towards him with his paw.

Hyaku had been brought out of his shock by Bustron, he was instantly alert and angry, he rushed over and yanked Feral off by his collar holding his high up in the air where he could do little harm. He shock the kuhna violently and growled at him, disgusted that he had attacked someone,turning to Riff Raff and Bustron he looked shamefacedly at them and said "I'm so sorry, are you alright?".

As Hyaku rushed forwards to stop it Bustron lunged forwards as well and gave Riff Raff's tail collar a sharp tug. The spikes on the tail collar didn't hurt his mouth any and as the other started to appologise Bustron chuckled. "Oh, boys will be boys... Besides, I doubt either of them regret it." He gave RR a quick look that warned the guy to calm down. However, with the Kuhna momentarily out of his reach RR was quickly calming down on his own.

Riff Raff smirked, licking the blood from his lips and knowing he'd need to clean his spikes later. "Sure, fine, nothing a little TLC won't sure. Tell you what Feral, you sure got some moves on you... If you think you could submit to following orders, I could use some new recruits in my army. Most of the soldiers are of the canine variety but I've got a few specialists of various species." Hell, train the kuhna enough to control himself in public and he'd probably make a great assassin... he just had to learn to control himself first.

Feral was growling angrily from his position high in the air, he had attempted a few swipes at Hyaku, but had failed miserably and after the warning look and growls from Hyaku he gave it up as a bad idea. He wasn't paying much attention to Riff Raff, other than glaring at him.

Hyaku considered Riff Raff's offer on behalf of Feral, he thought there were both good and bad points to signing Feral up to his army, Feral might be forced to behave himself, but being trained up as even more of a specialist killer did not seem like a good idea. In the long run the decision would be up to Reap the zoo manager and AnimeTheia the zoo owner. "I'm glad that Feral didn't seriously harm you. As to your offer I doubt that Feral would take it up of his own free will. Taking orders is definately something he doesn't adhere to, but maybe drilling some discipline into him wouldn't be such a bad idea. I'd have to ask the mistress about it however, and I would want to come along make sure Feral is kept under control, I will understand if you wouldn't want to train someone who wouldn't necessarily be used as an asset to you in the end".

Riff Raff listened as the Hunter explained what would be needed for his offer to be accepted and considered it. "I would be willing to have you along, but since you must check with your mistress... Bustron?" for now he'd let the offer sit and stew a while in the creatures brains. Maybe their misress would agree, maybe not.

Bustron sighed and turned, plucking a small piece of paper with his contact information on it and walking over, set it down by Hyaku. "Heres our phone number, address, and e-mail if you decide to join, and if not... keep in touch anyways. I don't know nearly enough Hunters to hang around with." With a quick lok at Feral Bustron moved back towards Riff Raff, who smiled and bowed.

"Its been a pleasure, but I'm afraid we must be on our way... have a nice day." That said, the spiky collared dog turned and started padding away. Bustron gave them one last look and a shrug of his shoulders before turning and following.

Hyaku accepted the contact details from Bustron and assured him that he would keep in touch as often as his free time allowed. As the duo left Feral swiped his claws at Riff Raff's back until the two were no longer in sight; earning himself another vicious shaking from Hyaku and a thorough telling off.

Hyaku was a bit dissapointed that the first hunter he had met in a long time was leaving so soon, but in hindsight it was probably best to remove the cause of Feral's current state of bloodlust before he got any more out of control and he now had to go shopping for a new and hopefully much stronger lead for the troublesome kuhna. Luckily he had a few keystones on him, which he had been debating on using to buy some fish for Feral, but he most certainly would not be getting any fish now! As Hyaku dragged Feral to the shops he considered Riff Raff's proposal and decided that he would do all in his power to persuade Theia and Reap to agree to send him off for professional training - he had always intended to train the kuhna himself (and would still do so if they didn't like the army idea) but it was becoming apparent that he wasn't quite enough for the young kuhna, it was difficult being both trainer and father (as he liked to think of himself as) especially if he wanted to remain friends with the werekuhna too. He hoped fervently that the mistress and Zoo Manager would agree.
