- Altair; Malphas; currently Quad form-The weather was warming up compared to the cold winter it had been, and more and more people were going outside. It wasn't that hot, though it was certainly warm enough to swim, and the sun rose high in the serene halcyon sky. A few tufty clouds hovered above Jawan, its beaches full of children and pets splashing around in the water and having fun.
Of course, Altair could see none of this. Such was the issue with blindness, though he could clearly feel the warmth around him while he, being a Malphas, radiated ominously freezing air. He could tell that it was 'nice' out, though he preferred the weather much cooler, and that the beaches were quite crowded. The Malphas had never been much of a crowd person, though it made sense as his species was typically solitary. Well, that did make sense- they did tote around a rather negative reputation. Though Altair wasn't nearly as violent and harsh of countenance as those who shared his species, it could be rather hard to tell, and the aura he gave off was that of something relatively more 'evil'.
Still, he did not seem to have a problem with being alone. Indeed, he seemed to enjoy it. Walking on all fours using his clawed wings as a pair of front legs, the Malphas's long and powerful tail dragged a line in the dampened sand. Altair was paying just enough attention to know where he was going, simply taking in the sea air and all that business. However, it soon came to his attention that others were nearby.
Something combined with animalian and plant aspects- a leawolf, Altair guessed- and something both furry and piscine... a merham, perhaps. Then two unmistakably feline smells, which the Malphas supposed were two kuhnas accompanying them. Or, perhaps, they had only just arrived. Judging by the introductions and the sounds of splashing several meters away, however, everyone seemed to be having at least some fun.
If he could see the group they would be relatively in the distance though their appearance would've been somewhat clear, and such was the same for him. Nearby was a sort of rocky outcropping, surrounded in grass and given four or five trees. It was a pitiful excuse for plant growth, honestly, and it seemed to be having some difficulty thriving in the sand.
Whatever the case, Altair clambered relatively noiselessly to the top of the rock pile, hoping no snakes were in there, and simply observed for the moment. Of course, he couldn't see, so it was more of a sightless observing. Simply staying low for now, or at least until they noticed him. He figured they might be a bit alarmed, but quite honestly Altair didn't want to end this walk already and have to turn around to walk all the way back where he came from.
