Cuddles chuckled darkly as the energy bomb connected juicily. She was on a roll this evening! But those blaste little needles kept digging into her skin! How they'd managed to hit her that time, she had no idea--she'd attacked from a distance, after all. She didn't ever get close to him. She blamed it on either a launching mechanism or space-time anomalies.

But why save all of her tricks? They'd do her no good pent up! Her hand began to change, forming a dangerous Blade. She swiped at the Bleeder with a battle cry.

Leer managed to leap to the side, causing the razor-sharp blade to miss. He then went back to hunkering down. He had a feeling he'd be here a very, very long time. Like...the summer tournament was seriously going to cut into fall. That sort of sucked, he had planned some kills in fall and he'd have to toss them to Oro...hey, wait, how had he spined her this time? Oh, duh. He had probably like ran into her and then gotten amnesia about it or something. Pft.

Kaido smiled, watching his old friend fight. It was funny. Unlike him himself, Leer was very, very defensive. Like...a huge spiny tortoise. Of course, he was also fast, and he knew how to hide, meaning that he was excellent for weaker humans - sneaking up to them, biting their throats, and then scampering off - repeating if needed.

Darn! It hit the air. How was the little schlubb dodging her? It seemed like he was barely moving; he was just sitting there! Luckily, she had one more trick. She pushed a button on her center, and started emitting high-pitched Sonic Waves to screw with his mind.

Leer hissed. He couldn't see. He reached out and rended at the air, blinded. It wasn't like his claws could possibly find any purchase against his thick steel shell, both in and out of his black skin. The waves were messing with his circuitry quite nastily.

More delicious than fresh sunlight! Cuddles was very pleased that the sound box she'd had installed was working. Now, while the little bugger was confused--she lashed out at him with her big feet and their serrated, steely claws.

Leer hissed. Nothing but air in his claws. Not that they'd find purchase against his foe, but it annoyed him. He wanted to taste blood. Blood. He was actually pretty thisty, too, not that he'd admit it. How long was this fight to drag on?

Darn! That confusion hadn't kicked in yet. If only... then she could stay far away while the little guy had a chance to self-destruct! But perhaps this battle might not last much longer--what was that word from on-high, about changing battles...?

Okay. Woah. Woah. He had like, crap for accuracy. God hated him or something. Rolling his eyes, he prepared to charge. Who needed defense? He actually felt like doing damage now, and darn it, he was going to do damage. Caution was for pansies! With a hiss, he charged right at the Rabbot, fully aware that this was a completely dreadful idea.

Geeze. He had hit himself. Of course, not being able to see had made it harder. But his vision was clearing up! With a snarl, he charged again, fully aware of where he was going. He felt invincible, so tough, so strong!
