Was it actually over? Really? That battle had taken forever... mostly because of him or something. Stopping the tournament midway because, bah, things just weren't working right. Do it this way, they said. Do it that way, they said. Do it like that, they said. Be random, they said. Use that, they said. Yeah. Yeah, 'they said' his... Anyhow. What mattered was that the battle had ended and that the tournament could go on. Things had worked out after the restart, and hopefully they'd continue to work okay. Hopefully.

"Yeah okay, rayquaza7996's Leer is going for the next round." Whenever that would be, if every battle was gonna be this freaking long. But, again, he had to stress his patience was non-existent. Humph. Be nice, Sol. Keep the comments to yourself, tsk... "Next battle... Pickle's Fire and GrayGriffin's Grapeshot; get in there." He narrowed his eyes irritably, pointing at the door leading to the fighting ring outside. Hopefully this battle wouldn't as long as that last one. Hopefully it would only last one turn. Hopefully one of them wouldn't even have time to breathe. But, ah, he wasn't getting a little too hopeful with that last one. ... Still. Would be nice if it happened!

Grapeshot slowly slid up to the arena. Well, here he was, ready for a face-off. Hopefully his ice powers would carry the day-wait, his opponent was apparently a fire elemental. Well, didn't that just beat all. A small sigh escaped him as he presented his stats once more.

Fire stepped into the arena, excited and nervous.  He bounced from paw to paw as he practically skipped in. He looked around for the person he was to fight, and grinned widely when he saw them.  This was going to be fun, even if he lost.  Plus, he thought he saw Alarice and Anna somewhere in the stands.  Pfft, it was such a typical thing for Alarice to do; bring a child to a fighting match.  Of course, there wasn't much he could do about it at the moment.
Fire only got more and more jittery as the fight was about to begin, and soon he couldn't sit still at all.  He wished it would just go ahead and start...

Fire glanced at his opponent first.  From what he understood, it was time to start fighting... He was nervous, but he could now clearly see Alarice and Anna cheering him on in the stands.  Before the fight he noticed Alarice had placed a bet against him.  Well, time to make her loose some money.
Baring his fangs, Fire hissed and ran tward his opponent.  He jumped and swung with his retractable claws, hoping to get a hit in.

What an extremely boring battle. At least the other guys had pulled up a fight of some kind... but this Kuhna had been left doing nothing. Sigh... disappointing. Eh. Oh well. It meant this tournament was just going ahead faster. Hooray for that?

"Oooookay, well. Guess Pyris's Fire wins this round, then..." He motioned for the Ancient Kuhna to come back, so the next round could begin. He shuffled through the papers until he picked out the names of the next battle. "'Kay... for this battle, it's Celtic's Sparky against MillietheWarrior's Laroo. Get in there." Ohh, the Hunter again. Hopefully it meant that battle would end in a flash.

Laroo stepped into the ring, tail twitching nervously. What was she up against this time? Hopefully not a bush or worse, a tree. While the leaf-like opponent had been admirable, Laroo did not wish to repeat that battle. She shook her mane, hearing the tinkling of the crystals that framed her massive, feline head. Well, if she was lucky, she’d make it to the next round.

First battle had gone... Not as well as planned. But hopefully this one would go a bit better. After all he just wanted this whole ordeal over with so he could just stop fighting. It wasn't really his thing. As Sparky stepped into the ring again, he very nearly ran back out, tail inbetween his legs. He did not like hunters. Their coldness and resemblance to stone just through him off, in a scared sort of way. And he was supposed to fight one, and come out victorious?! Who did they think he was, some sort of superhero? Heck no. The lucain took a deep breathe trying to calm his nerves. If only he was just slip into battle mode again like the other time already. Then he wouldn't have to worry about these stupid fears and crap. The lucain sighed as he tensed his body, warily takin gon a fighter's stance he had recently discovered.

Now was not the time for words, Laroo mused as she sized up her new opponent. A dog, this time. And no feline in their right mind had any love for those of the canine persuasion. Laroo was no different. She lifted her crystalline lips over her teeth, baring the sharp, blue daggers at her opponent. The muscles beneath her pelt of sapphire glistened and rippled as she prepared to strike, before her back legs launched her straight at the dog, intent on using her claws and teeth to remind him why cats and dogs should never be within a hundred feet of one another - let alone in a tournament together.

Sparky was glad he had prepared himself before because this time it was his opponent who got the first move, and move she did. He didn't know how she planned on attacking him, but since she was charging as him he knew it wasn't a magic or elemental thing so Sparky did the first thing that came to mind, he dodged and lashed out with a clawed paw of his own, hoping he would hit.
