Fire. It flickered and smoked, curling around, dancing. Though it’s beautiful dance was one of destruction.

[Mousen]

Fire, weaving an intricate dance. Slowly it devoured it’s dancing partner, It’s hunger unfathomable.

[Mousen]

Heat waving off in drones. Penetrating, flickering mirages. Coursing though the house.

[Mousen]

Smoke. Almost a solid in itself. Charring and dangerous.

[Mousen]

Suffocating gluttonous smoke. Black, thick smoke. It left no pure air.

[Mousen]

The young florana wept in a corner. Pressing her thin frame up against a wall. Her eyes wild with fear.

[Mousen]

She coughed as she inhaled smoke. Her vision hazy and her lungs gasping for anything but this terrible black smoke. She was scared.

[Mousen]

“I’m not a monster! I never meant to hurt anyone!” she cried. Tears streamed down her face.

[Mousen]

Her paw flickered toward the locked window. No hope. Outside were the jeers of the villagers.

[Mousen]

Fire, racing around to meet her. She gasped and fluttered uselessly against the window. Fear, fear like she had never felt before.

[Mousen]

She could feel the heat. So close, too close. Her small meaningless life, over before it had begun.

[Mousen]

Any moment now she was going to feel the pain of the fire. The burning as it consumed her. It was then she opened her mouth to scream.

[Mousen]

Moth sat bolt upright in bed. Her breathing uneven. Sweat running down her face.

[Mousen]

Another nightmare. Was she going to be forced to live this torture every night? she didn't thinks she could bare even a second more of the fear that taughnted her.

[Mousen]

She shivered, though it was nothing to do with the cold. Moth’s eyes glanced warily around her room. Grey, nothing else.
