Taboo nearly fogged up the Plexiglas to his helmet when told that he was free to go. The vampire's wrath was, for now, at bay and he could get out of here. Of course the rather foreboding request to see him after dark didn't set well...but it was better than letting a blood witch and two vampires feast on him. "Y-yes! Of course. We will speak later....enjoy your afternoon together."
He backed away a good ways before turning and speed-walking towards the wharf and the shops. He just wanted to be back in his cozy, safe lab again. He knew he shouldn't have listened to that demon and her provoking words!
Spardia's sharp eyes didn't miss the hasty retreat of the scientist, but she let it go without a fuss for now. If Tremere felt it safe to leave him go, then it was safe. The one thing in the world she did trust was the man's love and adoration for their children and no matter what side games he might have playing out he wouldn't compromise them. She refocused on Malkov, her dearest one, and gave a gentle (for Spardia, at least) smile.
"Oh brother, he has wronged you so. But you aren't me and vengeance just isn't a good fit for you. Perhaps speak with him, then you will always know that you gave it a try and can't feel badly if things end up not working out." Oh, but she hated Dejar. What sort of man would wrong her brother so? Leave him broken and lonely without proper explanation? He had best sweep her brother off his feet at their next meeting with apologies aplenty of his blood would be her next practicing partner.
Hexia frowned, looking back and forth between her mother and uncle. "Uncle Malkov, ice cream makes everyone feel better. You should go and have some ice cream!"
Spardia smiled down at her daughter and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Ice cream can fix a great many things, little love, but I think Uncle Malkov needs something more."
Hexia pondered this for a moment, mimicking other adults she had seen by resting one arm on top of the other and placing a single hand under her chin thoughtfully. When she seemed to have found the answer she brightened and stared up at her uncle very seriously."...Do you need some cake too, Uncle Malkov?"
