[Remedy]

It was nice to finally take a vacation.

After working in one city for so long, Anita had almost forgotten the feeling of trying something new.  Granted, she was participating in something she'd already done before, but now she at least had a change of scenery.  It felt nice to finally have a day off so she could actually relax and explore.
Basket in hand, she walked along the sidewalk with a pleasant smile on her lips.  For once she was wearing a fitting pair of blue jean shorts and a cute, sleeveless white blouse instead of her usual work attire.  Her long, curly dark hair was flowing freely around her shoulders and down her back instead of in it's usual tight-bun confinement.  Every bit of her posture looked relaxed as she strolled along, heading to the place she was told to meet up with her friend.

Kasumi was leaning against a wall in the main room of her dojo, observing two of her students.  One was a small boy around twelve or thirteen, and the other around the age of fifteen, who towered above the first.  Of course, she had intentionally paired them together for multiple reasons.  The main one being that all of their classmates were also observing them, and hopefully this would show them that size and age didn't matter.  It was based on technique and wit.  

Naturally, the younger one waited, watching for any subtle movement from the older boy, and as soon as he saw this, he readied himself before striking.  

"Shiyumi, what was that called?" she asked without turning to look at the girl.

"I, well, I think that was the renzoku waza, since it was an attack initiated as soon as his opponent showed himself ready to strike...  It's classified under the shikake waza." the black haired girl responded uncertainly.

"Good.  Next week you'll be going up against Tidbits over there." Kasumi said as she motioned towards the younger boy who was now standing victorious in the middle of the floor.  The look on the girl's face was a mixture of excitement and astonishment, but she just nodded without a word.

"Yo, Tidbits, Hulk, you're through for today.  I'm expecting to meet someone, so everyone can go ahead and either pack up or get ready for a private if you're supposed to still be here for the rest of the day."

Delighted at the idea of an early dismissal, they called out thanks before leaving through one of the screened exits, leaving Kasumi alone.  At least, until Anita arrived.

[Remedy]

As she approached a crosswalk, Anita paused and pulled a slip of paper out of her Easter basket.  On it was an address and directions to the building her friend was in.  The city was smaller and the sidewalks were much less crowded than those of Medecai,  but it was also unfamiliar.
"Maybe I should've taken a cab..." She mused to herself before dropping the paper back in the bag.  She glanced up at the traffic lights across the street, examining the street signs before crossing the road.

"Ah well, I'm pretty sure I'm almost there."  She sighed and carried on.

As she waited, Kasumi realized that she must have looked like a complete mess after training for the day.  And while Jawan was a bit more laid back in comparison to Medicai, she still didn't want to go around in sweatpants and a workout top.

Hopefully, Anita wouldn't arrive while she was changing, but if she did, she would just have to wait a couple of seconds.  Heading back to the staff room, she grabbed her bag from the locker and hurried to the changing area.  She pulled out a black, flowing halter top and some tan shorts, surveying them. A bit wrinkled, but it would be fine once she walked around for a little while.  She was out of her training clothes and into a new outfit within minutes, and all she had to do was take her hair out of the ponytail and slip on some shoes before Anita arrived.  As she brushed out the full length of her blonde locks, she wondered if Dylan would also be coming along.  Figuring it would be fine either way, Kasumi got a pair of sandals and sat to buckle them up her leg and then grabbed a bag to place any eggs in.  The final result was more than satisfactory, so she walked out with a smile.

However, when she noticed Anita had yet to arrive, Kasumi went ahead and got ready to lock up before heading out to the street.  Looking around, she was lucky enough to spot Anita. At least, she looked like the woman she had been hanging out with before.  Just a bit more...  A bit more laid back, if that was the right wording.

[Remedy]

After continuing on down the road, Anita finally noticed the building she was told to go.  At least, it certainly fit the description.  Quickening her pace just slightly, she was almost there when she saw Kasumi step out.  With a wide grin, she locked eyes with the woman and waved.

"Hey!  Long time no see," she joked, calling to Kasumi.  She took a moment to give the woman a once-over, coming to the conclusion that she looked nice, as always.  When she finally caught up, she offered a hug and said with a light laugh, "Ready for today's adventure?  You'll have to show me around this time, so I don't get lost."

"Wow, you look so different!  I like the look." Kasumi said with a smile.  And she was honestly did like the new look.  It was quite flattering on her.  She embraced her friend as she laughed at Anita's initial comment.  She had thoroughly enjoyed their time during their first expedition, and was looking forward to showing her around.

"Hah, I'll be happy to show you around. There's quite a few places to look around, for both eggs and shops.  So I'm sure that we'll have quite a bit of fun.  You ready?" She asked, not bothering to act quite as calm and collected as she would normally.  Formalities were gone now, and what remained was her true, laid back attitude.

[Remedy]

"Yeah, sounds great!  Lead the way, tour guide." Anita said, grinning.  Unlike usual, she wasn't concerned with timeliness.  Since she'd already participated in this event and found quite a bit, hunting eggs didn't seem as important as before.  Of course, she'd still look, but why not shop along the way?

Anita also wanted to spend the day learning more about Kasumi.  They'd bonded nicely the last time they spent time together, but she was curious to know what Kasumi was like in here own, familiar city.  Already, she could tell the woman seemed more carefree.  Of course, Anita did as well.  She knew she'd enjoy the rest of the day.

Nodding, Kasumi decided to head toward the main shopping area first.  She figured that they could always grab a bite to eat later if needed, but for now, searching for eggs and just looking around would be just fine.

"Well, I have to say, I'm happy to know that you found time in your schedule to come down and just, well, hang out.  So, I'm taking us to a great little outlet strip near a great sea food restaurant that we can eat at whenever you feel like it." Kasumi explained, smiling quite a bit more than she normally chose to.  Hopefully this would be acceptable to the other woman.

[Remedy]

"Of course!  I'm glad I did too.  After working every day for so long, I really needed an actual break- and someone to spend it with.  I suppose there's Dylan, but I see him every day at work and we hardly get along... but you already know that," Anita rambled, laughing a bit.  She smiled and eagerly continued, "Shopping and sea food?  Sounds excellent!"  
Her enthusiasm was obvious and sincere as she walked alongside Kasumi.

[Elektra]

"Great!" Kasumi said, grinning.  It didn't take them long to arrive at the beginning of the small shop, all lined up side by side, all of them inviting the tourists in.  "So where would you like to look first?  We've got time, and if we do this right, we could probably have enough time to search for eggs and some clothes."

Normally the idea of shopping for clothes wasn't at all appealing, but she was in need of clothes for the coming seasons, and having another woman to give her an opinion would be nice for once.  Of course, that depended on whether or not they found any eggs, as well as if Anita minded.

[Remedy]

"We can just go down the row," Anita suggested.  "All of these shops look interesting- I'm sure they've each got something worth looking at."

She wasn't much of a shopper herself.  Since she'd been working almost 24/7 and hardly did anything social, the only clothes she needed were multiple pairs of white scrubs.  Of course, she obviously owned various other garments, but hardly had the opportunity to wear them out.  Even so, maybe this new friend of hers could introduce her into a more active social life...

"You'd be surprised at the variety of shops we've got here, so just going down the row would work just fine."  Kasumi looked up at the sign of the store they were now in front of, noticing that it was a specialty store.  "Shady Hut..." she said to herself as she pushed open the door and held it there for her friend.

From where she was, she could see a few shelves full of different sunglasses, along with attendants standing by to help anyone who might be interested.  And among the metallic frames, a flash of neon green and pink caught her eye. It looked as if they were already off to a good start.

[Remedy]

Anita followed Kasumi into the first store after sparing a brief glance at the sign above it.  Looking around, she too noticed an egg on the left side of the room.  It was carefully balanced on one of the empty hooks where a pair of sunglasses should have been resting.  She walked over and picked it up, examining it for a moment before placing it in her basket.  It was somewhat small and reflective like a mirror, but undoubtably in the shape of an egg.  

"Interesting... I haven't seen one like that before," she commented absentmindedly before transitioning her focus to the various hats and sunglasses in the shop.

[Elektra]

"Man, that's one shiny egg you've got there.  Fits pretty well with the shop." Kasumi said, actually quite interested at the idea of a shop-themed egg.  She walked over to the shelf where she had seen that initial burst of color and picked up a slightly bigger egg, one that appeared to have been randomly splattered with different shades of pink and green.  Dropping that into her own bag, she allowed herself to look around the store for sunglasses rather than eggs.  When she thought about it, she actually was going to need something for the upcoming seasons and the sunny days that always accompanied them.

Despite those larger framed glasses being all the rage as of late, Kasumi went for a much sleeker, sporty design, and while it took her a few different tries, she final found a pair that she thought were worth trying on.  And low and behold, behind said pair was a cute little gold egg.  It actually matched the two stripes down the stems of the glasses quite nicely.

[Remedy]

Anita nodded in agreement with Kasumi, then went on to actually shop as well.  While doing this, she found one egg in a similar fashion as Kasumi had.  It was hidden behind a pair of sunglasses that she just so happened to pick up.  She noticed it was large and darkly colored, and only took a moment to examine it before dropping it in the basket with the other.  
After that she replaced the sunglasses on the rack and almost moved on before a cute pair of large, white-rimmed ones caught her eye.  She decided that it couldn't hurt to try on another pair.
