His first attempt had been fairly fruitful, at least bringing one love-struck couple together. Eros was all but beside himself as he drifted over the second continent of Evelon and looked at all the unsuspecting folks below. All with songs inside just waiting to burst out, they just needed that little push so they wouldn't be so shy anymore!
Eros
His sails wobbling in the strong sea winds, his ethereal wings he manifested through his magic held strong and steady. He could always use a cloud to drift around on, yes...but he was supposed to be a cupid! And all cupid's had wings! He stretched out his arms and cracked his knuckles. The last time this had worked the Fate-Seer Deadpool had been with him. But he had felt her magic course through him and he was confident he could replicate the magic needed for the spell. Probably. No, most likely.
Inhaling deeply, Eros closed his eyes and concentrated all his energy into his fingertips. At first little pink lights danced around his fingernails, but soon they were two large orbs glowing and growing fast. He moved both hands together, combining the orbs into one giant ball of glittery pink light. Then he released it, and the orb floated down just a few feet before bursting and allowing the oceanic winds to scatter it everywhere.
While not as thick as the glitter layer at the Estates, Eros was certain this amount was enough to coat the entire city, and that was a fabulous start. He watched as the glitter finally began reaching the lungs of those out for a stroll and as songs began to rise into the air, Eros laughed gleefully and rose higher into the air to move onto the next city. By the end of the day, no one would be safe from his song-inducing glitter.

Below, the glitter was inescapable. It wasn't thick enough to cause alarm, but it hung in the air oddly and seemed to be stuck or waiting for something. When one got close enough their inklings of thought would prove correct, and on their next inhale some of the glitter would fly into their lungs. It didn't hurt or even tickle, but once there it seemed impossible for any amount of coughing or hacking to get rid of it. Very soon after the effects would begin. It would start as a gentle warming of the lungs and heart, almost like that first sip of hot chocolate after hours in the snow. That feeling would continue up the throat of the inhaler, and without warning, a song would burst from their lips.
What song was entirely up to the individual. But one idea held solid--it was the song closest to their heart, and closest to how they viewed love.
