[Katia]

Katia hadn't eaten in a few days and she was in desperate need of food. She knew that she had to eat, but had no money. Normally Azel her Hallowheart helped her to find food, but she refused to have anything to do with the water and fishing. "Find your own food!" The Hallowheart had told her. However she had agreed to be a look out. "Not good." Tara her Fenling said and Katia had to agree with her. She knew that stealing was bad, but she had no choice. She soon picked out what appeared to be the biggest fish she could find and then knelt by her Fenling. "Can you please distract him or else I can't get the fish?"  Tara agreed to distract him, but not before showing her displesaure. Soon the fenling jumped onto the fish stall and started whacking the stall keeper in the face with her tails. Katia then grabbed the fish and started running with Tara quickly following. Soon she could hear the words, "Stop thief!" She kept running and then heard the following report by Azel in her head. "He's falling behind!" However just then she tripped because of the weight of the fish and hit the ground hard. The fish was on the ground and ruined. Then the stall keeper caught up and said, "I'm going to make sure you pay for that fish." Then raised her hand carrying a large stick ready to strike Katia.

A Glacial Kuchi rushed in knocking the stick from the keepers hand. The keeper stood, stunned and then quickly retreated.
The Glacial Kuchi helped Katia to her feet and asked, in her mind, if she was alright. He then looked up and smiled as Morbid, Lilith,and Angst appeared through the crowd.

"Oh my god Katia are you alright!" The black haired woman duster her off quickly and hugged her.

"Dear child..why did you feel the need to steal a fish? Where are your parents?" Lilith stood in front of Katia, worried.

[Katia]

Katia put her head down in shame and said, "I lied to you, I'm not staying at an inn with my parents, in fact I don't have any parents and I needed to steal a fish because I haven't eaten in a few days. The reason I didn't tell you was because I have nowhere to go and I didn't want to be sent to someone to be taken care of because they may try to force me to give up my grandmother's pets. They don't listen to me very well and I have been trying to earn their trust, but it's slow. Tara then crept over to Katia, but had a confused look on her face as if she didn't understand what katia was saying. Azel had the same look on her face, but you couldn't see it due to her being in the sky.

Lilith looked to Morbid, and watched her sigh.

"Katia, why did you lie to us? We would have helped you, taken you in even thought we don't have much to give." Morbid put her hand on the young girls shoulder.

"Thats right Katia." Angst spoke up for the first time, "We'd do anything to help you out, you didn't need to lie to us."

The Glacial Kuchi spoke into her mind ~~"Their right, child. We would not have saved you had we not cared for you in the first place."

Morbid stood there, hand on the girls shoulder, looking puzzled and a little hurt.

[Katia]

Katia looked sad and said, "I'm sorry, it's just I didn't want to gamble with Azel, Tara and Risika. They all I have left from my grandmother. Our house was attack by a gang of robbers one night. We weren't rich, but we were isolated. However they were unhappy about the poor pickings and they would take me as a constalation prize. Grandmother then ordered Azel to carry me and Tara on her back and Risika to follow. I got away, but...." She then stopped as if it was a painful memory. Then before crying out, "I saw them behead my grandmother!" Her body then racked with her sobbing.

Morbid quickly picked the child up, into her arms and held her.
"Shhh it's going to be ok now, I'll take care of you, and feed you, and cloth you, and keep you safe. You don't need to worry anymore." Morbid hugged her close, and started to cry a bit herself.
"Lilith, get her pets, and follow us to the closest Inn."
Lilith nodded.
Morbid turned around, holding Katia in her arms, and started to walk to an inn; Angst and the Glacial Kuchi following close behind.

[Katia]

Katia slowly stopped crying. "I can keep my pets?" She said in a hopeful vioce. They were all she had to remeber her grandmother by and wasn't about to give them up.  Tara followed right behind Morbid and Azel followed in the air, but her Yonyuu wasn't with her and the moment. "Riksika will be at the fountain later tonight, but are you sure about helping me? Katia said quietly

The Glacial Kuchi Followed very close behind Morbid, Listeining to her with a concerned look on his face.

"Dear, Katia. Of course you may keep your pets! I would never separate you from them." Morbid stroked the child's hair gently, then looked to her Angst ball. "Angst, will you wait by the fountain tonight for Katia's Yonyuu?"

"Of course Morbid."

"Be careful when you do, tell Lilith of the plan."

The Angst ball mad a small conformation noise and flew off to speak with Lilith.

"Katia, if I was unsure of helping you, I would never have offered in the first place." Morbid smiled gently and held her close.

The Glacial Kuchi tapped Morbid on the shoulder, and she turned to him with a smile.

~~"The inn is just a block ahead." He spoke in her mind, and then smiled.

"Thank you Koshima." Morbid looked down at Katia. "Lets get you cleaned up and rested. When you are ready, we shall go to Vail, my Cursed Fenling, and get you something new to wear, how does that sound?

[Katia]

Katia nodded and said, "I had to make sure. They are all I have left. I just hope Risika doesn't give you any trouble." She knew that the Yonyuu may cause some trouble due to the fact that it was still a bit rebellious, but she had made a little progress with her. Then she heard the following in her mind. "Where will I stay? Can a inn really house me?" Katia really doubted that azel could go into the inn with her and said, "Azel wants to know where she will be staying?" While waiting for the answer, her eyes grew big at the mention of new clothes. "Really?! I haven't had a new outfit since my...." Her vioce died away at the thought and she didn't say anymore.

"Don't worry about a thing dearie." Morbid smiled "If Risika gives me any trouble I'll sick Lilith's nagging butt on her." A cheery giggle escaped the womans lips. "the inn will house us for a wile, Lilith and Angst will take your pets to my stable, and they will sleep there. After my money and good charm wear off on the inn keeper though, I'm afraid we will have to stay in caves and anywhere else we can find. But hell I've been doing it for a wile now..so it shouldn't be a problem."
Morbid smiled "Of course I'll give you new cloths! Can't have a beautiful young lady walking around in tattered cloths, now can I?"

[Katia]

Katia giggled at the thought of Risika getting an earful of Lilith's nagging. She looked at Azel in the air and gave a wave of her hand and pointed to morbid pets because she didn't know if azel would be able to hear her from where she was. She hoped that azel would get that she was supposed to follow them. She then turned to the fenling and said, "Tara follow Morbid's pets to the stables." Tara nodded and said, "Night!" Then she walked up to Angst. Then Katia said, "I don't mind sleepong in caves, I've done it before." She then beamed at Morbid's complients about being a pretty young lady, but then she yawned and fell asleep in her arms.

[Tara and Azel are now out of the rp.]

Morbid smiled and turned to look at where Angst and Lilith were. She gave a small nod for them to start off to the stables, and then looked at Koshima, the Glacial Kuchi.
"You should go with them, they won't let you in the inn either I suspect."

He looked at Morbid for quite a time and then nodded, and walked slowly behind Lilith.

Morbid walked into the inn, the sleeping Katia in her arms, asked for a room and payed them for it. She proceeded up the stairs to the room, carefuly opened the door and lied Katia on the bed. She whispered "sleep well." and kissed the child's forehead, then went to the other bed in the room, and lied down, falling asleep almost instantly.
