Lasha had managed to get a little further ahead of Keltor on their stroll out here from Wilt'no to Jawan.  She looked back at the Kanua and smiled; he seemed like the nice type of guy.  Her type of guy.

So what if she liked to flirt?  That was just who she was!

Stopping, she called back to Keltor, "Which way is this cove?  I've never been out here, so..."

"It's just over this way, huh." said Keltor, regaining the lead on Lasha and smiling impishly at her, walking towards a small cove not to far in the distance. Normally he didn't show anyone the out of the way area, which you had to go through some very thick woods to get to, but Lasha was special. After only a small about of time they were almost as close as Sethor and Tali?±a were not to long ago. Keltor wanted to show her this secret place, his secret, private place...

Lasha followed after him, her eyes taking in every sight around this sea city.  She breathed in the salty sea air, which was very invigorating to anyone that came there.  Smiling again, she said, "I'll betcha Sethor and 'Aunt' Tali?±a, as I call her, are either already lifemates, or they're getting close to it, yeah?" She said, remembering how close the two had been from the time they had arrived and left the desert.

Keltor nodded. "Bet they are close to being lifemates, huh. This way, huh." he added, slipping into a nearly invisible gap in the cliff, hidden by two rocks. "Just a little further from here, huh." he called, as he pushed the small pile of rocks he used to hide the path out of the way and revealed the small winding path through the thick foliage on either side, leading to a small strip of beach that was inaccessible from anywhere else due to the cliffs on either end and the back- the path went under the cliff.

Lasha tried her best to keep up with Keltor--getting through a tiny gap wasn't always easy when one didn't do it very often-- but when she saw the scenery on the other side, she smiled brightly.  "Wow, it's beautiful out here!" She said, looking around and taking in every detail of the scenery.  Even Aldrect hadn't been this impressive...!

"You're the only other person besides me who knows about it, huh." said Keltor, staring out across the ocean. "I haven't shown this place to anyone else, not even Vicky or my dad, huh." looking away from the sea, he turned and smiled at her. "Guess you're just a special case, huh?" he said,  stepping closer to her as his tails flirted with hers, paws sinking into the soft sand.

Lasha giggled, her tails joining with his as she said, "I guess I must be.  I've always been told I'm the special girl." She smiled, her grin slightly impish.  "How did you happen across this place?" She asked, truly amazed that such a gem of nature was only known to them.

"Uh... Actually, I fell down here from that cliff, huh." said Keltor, pointing up to the ledge above them, smiling ruefully. "I broke my leg in three places, huh. I had to crawl up through that cave and out the hole up there, and down to the forest before someone found me, huh. I was in a cast for weeks, huh. But it was worth it to find this place, huh."

Lasha's eyes widened as she blinked.  "Wow.  That's a long way to fall." She said, looking from the top of the cliff down to the beach they were sitting on.  "Hey, at least your leg's fine now, yeah?" She said, giggling.  "Fire told me that I got kidnapped when I was a kit.  I musta blacked out or something, 'cause I just remember everything going black and me getting snatched up with my brother.  When I woke up, I think my back paw was broken, 'cause Fire wouldn't let me out of the house until, like, when the kits grew up, and whenever I'd try to get up, I'd dit back down 'cause my back paw was in so much pain." She said, shuddering.

"You didn't remember being kidnapped, huh? You must have been rescued pretty quick, huh." He winced when she spoke of her paw breaking. "Yeah, dad wouldn't let me leave the house for months after I broke my leg, huh. He was convinced I'd get myself killed, huh." drawing away from Lasha for a moment, he walked over to a small hole in the side of the cliff and dug out a box. Nosing it open, he pulled out a large beach blanket and a beach umbrella. Dragging them to near the edge of the water, he nosed open the umbrella and smiled proudly back at Lasha. "After he finally let me out, I brought this out here, huh." he crooned, lying down on the blanket. "Care to join me, huh?"

Lasha shook her head.  "No, it took a while before I got rescued.  I just remember... a Khimera and several Serraptors, including my kidnappers, and the smell of blood, thick on the air..." She said, shuddering.  "I think after I got my first smell of someone else's innocent blood, shed for no reason other than for pleasure, I passed out.  I hate the smell of blood so much..." She said, and then, looking at the blanket, she said, "Of course I'll join you."  She walked over and lay down on the blanket next to him.

"Oh, I didn't know, huh." said Keltor, frowning slightly. He personally wasn't repulsed by the smell of blood, but he didn't exactly revel in it. And innocent bloodshed tended to lean towards terrible things and rituals. He'd never seen it lead anywhere good. Smiling at her when she lay down on the blanket, he moved closer, his tails meeting hers again. Looking out over the sea, he grinned happily. Life didn't get much better than this. Beautiful Kuhna at his side, a soft towel beneath him and a beautiful coast in front of him.

Lasha smiled as their tails joined again, her red eyes shimmering as she looked out over the sea.  "My father said that he'd hoped to bring me out here to Jawan one time.  He said that Tali?±a told him that it was one of the most beautiful places she'd ever seen... I have to agree with her." She said, looking back at him.  His mismatched eyes and gradient stripes, plus his pitch-black coat, made him all the more charming to her.

Keltor smiled at Lasha, eyes wandering over her as he remarked off handedly. "Yeah, it's pretty nice, huh." Lasha's markings were actually very similar to his, only different colours... He liked her colours though. The vivid reds in her eyes and wings drew his eyes like magnets. "I haven't explored many other places except here though, huh. I dunno what the rest of the beach looks like." Gaze travelling back up to her face, he winked, his purple eye sparkling with glee.

"I haven't gone much of anywhere else either, 'cept for the park, Aldrect, and Lambastia's cathedral, but that was when I was kidnapped, so I have very few memories of the place." She said, sighing.  She smiled at Keltor again her eyes glimmering.
